Anyone got any ideas?

Archive: 7 posts

I love doing the object shaping of sticker (making an object the exact shape of a sticker outline), but the only way I know how to do this is through using the Corner Edit tool. However, on create mode when I place a sticker and then go to edit the object, the sticker simply dissappers!!.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm 99% this can be done since the people who make the story levels obviously figured a way of doing it!

Thanks

As far as I'm concerned, the sticker comes back once you've closed the corner editor tool. The sticker is only invisible while you're editing, which is a HUGE letdown for making characters in levels or whatever else.2009-12-02 16:43:00

Just a thought..

I don't have a PSP, but you might try making a copy and make it a thin layer that is in front of the one you are attempting to make. If you had it in front view (assuming there is a front view) it might help as a temp guide of sorts while editing the rear object.

Hmmm... that would work well if there was a front view OR a copy feature...

Seriously, though - jwwphotos idea would work. Put a thick layer and put the sticker on it. Then, put a thin layer in front of it and use it to trace out the sticker, then put the sticker on the thin one.

Here is what I do, which is similar to the other suggestion. Make a thin layer of glass then place the sticker on it. Next put whatever sized material behind it, slightly larger then the plane of glass. Now you can see the sticker and the material and it's much easier shaping your objects.2009-12-04 10:41:00

yeah I do that aswell now.

Another annoying feature I found is that when resizing a shape with a sticker on it, the sticker doesnt resize along with it, which is highly annoying
