Doing the tutorials for the 4th time..
you can get frustrated.

Wow, you back?
You decided to let go of the bitterness?

Welcome anyways. With the new save system you have less chances than ever to get unlucky.

Yea I got a copy the day before 1.21 so I was a happy camper.
If it wasnt for "ladylyn1 (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?u=5266)" I would probably not get over my grudge though.

Now I really wish I had a creditcard for all the add-ons.
I got none besides the free editor pack.

My only grudge now is.. getting back on the bike and get used to all the switches again.

Now All I need is a check-point that actually rewinds everything that happened after you touched it.

Sure, I am curious.
I am hoping that both people can build wherever they want.
so one person works on left top, while the other works on the right bottom for instance.

Yes, you can do this. Each player has their own individual camera. The only difference is, other players (that are not host) have to request for a pause, rewind, etc.

All they really have to do to request it is to press the button that does each action (left on d-pad for rewind, etc.)

interesting,
rewinding will be a pain in the neck though.
Especially because I tend to press the rewind button 100's of times in less than an hour.

You get used to not rewinding after a while... Most of the time, things can be fixed without rewind. There are exceptions, yeah (accidentally combining two materials), that require a rewind, but it's not so bad, really.

...and building in pause mode. Everyone might need the physics paused at any one time, so you tend to just leave it paused at all times. If you need to unpause the physics, you just make sure that everyone is good-to-go.

I am the kind of person/enviroment artist that tests everything over and over again, even if the result stays the same.
but Ill wait with my gudgement untill ive tried it

Well for that kind of testing, you can always to it on your own moon. Then rejoin the co-op level with a perfectly tested object.

Avoiding rewind with co-creating is really a plus since there is only 1 time line. So your million rewinds just has others hovering around waiting for you to get done.

A few tips to avoid unexpected gravity is simpy apply DM to a non moving part of your object. No need gluing any on! Another tip I liked to do is if I got something where I liked it and the host needed to rewind, capture the object.

When I build I try to make a copy and then make the next changes to that one. Going back is as simple as deleting that one and pulling a new copy.

To put the thread back on track... my frustrations is someone who constantly rewinds or leaves a level in play mode.

Wow. I never realised about the rewind requests...

That would be something to get used to for me because I am the Rewindinator. Seriously. I always work on pause, unpause to test, rewind, continue.

They introduced PSN cards in the Netherlands, you can get one of those. I think I even saw some in a video rental place.

Or build a prototype first, then build it for real. You tend to make less mistakes the second time 'round.

What store was selling PSN cards at 3 am?

Anyway, the MGS pack in particular is totally worth it. I wonder what the water kit will bring...
