I know this sounds nerdy, but i compose music

Archive: 17 posts

I have been composing music for string instruments such as the violin and the cello and bass. I'm thinking about getting copyrights. I haven't finished my current violin piece, but if you can play bass or cello and want a copy i can email it or something. idk.2009-12-02 07:39:00

How is that "nerdy"? Thats AWESOME! I have to admit, loving rock and stuff, I do enjoy a good bit of classical music.
Keep up the work!

What the above poster said.
I can be a music tester if you wish xD
But keep it up, dreams start small and grow.

If you want to be less nerdy, find me a classical song and transcribe it for guitar. It will make you teh really cool. Please? lol

But anyways, that's cool man Gotta love strings, especially when they do this:

Nerdy!? Was DIO nerdy? Was Metallica nerdy? Is playing Guitar Hero for your life, losing your job, and not socializing nerdy? Wait, don't answer that last one. But ya, composing music is NOT nerdy. Hope you can be happier with yourself not being a nerd (if that's what you're looking for). 2009-12-04 02:57:00

About copyright, as soon as you start composing on anything at all, you have legal copyright and so long as you can prove that it was yours first then it stands up in court.

Like posting yourself your own scores in a sealed envelope.

You don't have to pay or do anything to own copyright
Not like a patent.

(probably my best songs. The Music was made in FL studio, everything else was made in Anvil Studio)

That's not very nerdy. I think a good song is a good song. Genre doesn't make a difference.2009-12-09 00:14:00

No, you have to be a geek to be cool. Geek rhymes with chic, so how can it not be cool? Nerd rhymes with turd - not so good.

Nerds are not cool.

Nerd also rhymes with absurd; which is what rtm223's post was! Lol! I'm a songwriter and a nerd. And probably a geek, but it is definitely cooler than being the popular kid in school! I should know!2009-12-30 20:58:00
