Has anyone even mentioned the possibility of putting your own voice clips into the game? I mean obviously they'd limit it to just using the pseye or something so we don't all put in copyrighted music, but I'd love to have vocal cues at certain points in levels I'd make... how did that Parsons team get the drum/heart beat thingy into their level?

Nothing has been specifically mentioned. I guessed that the heart beat is one of the pre-added noises and we are supposed to interpret it as a heart beat in that instance, but in another context it could be something else. I can't se MM allowing voice clips at first. Too much potential for recording songs already copyrighted, and also, possibly issues with filesize.

Oh yeah the filesize would be a problem... I suppose they could record it at a low bitrate and then upload it... and place restrictions on length, 20 seconds or something? that'd stop full songs anyway. Oh and I remember the music guy commenting in one video that they got the drumbeat sound into the game using a snare drum I think? I don't know if it was just for that project or we have some sort of cool music device options there.

I think people would add "mature voices" So I would say, no I don't think they will add it. I hope they do, but I don't think it's likely.

I see what you mean, but I would hope that the possibility of "adult content" wouldn't be the lone thing blocking this feature. Just like anything else, you're going to have some people abuse the system. The whole community shouldn't be punished for the immaturity of a small group of immature people.

We're gonna have to deal with 'Mature voices' and little screaming D-bags as it is. I'm guessing that vo-cording was left out for both copyright AND size issues. I'm not worried. It's not a make/break feature.

It's not a make/break feature. You're right; it's not a deal-breaker by any means. There are plenty of things that I'm sure that the lovely people over at Media Molecule are working on getting into the game shortly after launch. It won't be long before these "little things" that some people want wind up falling completely off of the radar due to the overwhelming amount of content that is sure to be at hand.

Oh yeah it's not a huge thing that'll make or break my purchase, it'd just be nice for a few levels I had in mind. The whole adult thing shouldn't be an issue too much though, I mean there would be as much chance as someone saying dirty words as they would of having pictures of their naughty bits.
