Tutorial Question

Archive: 4 posts

Hey, I've a question about the Tutorial subforum. I was wondering if it's against the rules to create a compliation thread of all my tutorials. For example:

I create 3 tutorials, each in a different thread. I copy them, and paste them in spoilers, in a new thread. Then, I delete the old threads, and post the new thread as Drakon136's Tutorial Compliation. Then, people can look at all my tutorials without having to go to a different thread.

So, do you think this is allowed, or not?

that's actually advised if your gunna be making multiple tutorials or a series, takes up less room, easier to manage, and easier for people to access 2009-11-30 23:55:00

Depends if it's to be a series or just unrelated tutorials. Bear in mind deleting the threads will delete the discussion around the topic, which in the help and tutorial forums is often as useful as the tutorials themselves.

If it's to be a series, then you can always do it as a blog, and have a thread as an index of sorts. Just don't make a logic blog, or I'll have to fight you

Yeah, I don't need to worry about that. The replies were just one guy asking if there were pictures, and someone thanking me for making it. Apparently, he needed it to make paintballs crash against a boat like waves, but I don't know how he'd need that.

Also, one is a 2-tutorial series, and the other is completely unrelated.
