1) They gave change material a sound? didnt notice that 2) I dont notice a difference 3) I did notice a bit of lag when shaping things, particularly with corner edit | 2009-11-30 19:46:00 Author: Matimoo Posts: 1027 |
Hmmmm.... I was working last night and this morning quite a bit with these things and didn't notice - I'll need to pay a bit more attention. | 2009-11-30 19:59:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
I noticed a lot more lag when I am in online create, but I haven't noticed any other issues. Actually I love that I can actually connect with other players now. Before it would load. | 2009-11-30 20:07:00 Author: thefrozenpenquin Posts: 479 |
my complaints with leederdam(spelling) Funnily enough you're not that far off. Leder is another word for leer, both meaning leather. /offtopic | 2009-11-30 21:07:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
A complaint i have is when you put a large sticker cover a longer distance, it cuts off the stick , leaving bare material that you cannot cover | 2009-12-01 03:21:00 Author: Joshofsouls Posts: 1569 |
I personally love the new material changing sound. It sounds so squishy and hilarious! Also, menu speed doesn't seem to have changed for me... not sure if you just have an eye for these things. Lastly, lag. I've been experiencing a lot of lag with the corner edit tool which is very saddening | 2009-12-01 04:04:00 Author: iGotFancyPants Posts: 1355 |

And i haven't noticed any of theese things recently number 2) might not be because of the update it could just genrenlly (How do you spell genrenlly?!?) be lagg... | 2009-12-01 18:49:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |
1) i think it suits the tool perfectly, as if you are filling the shape with another material, 2) By menus do you mean popits? or the controller, I personally love the fact that it takes only a few seconds to load up a level 3)The lag might be to do with the fact that the network codes been changed. when the game first came out it connected to the servers, But i am willing to sacrifice a small amount of lag, for 95% lag free'dness Doopz479: Generally. And i haven't noticed any of theese things recently number 2) might not be because of the update it could just genrenlly (How do you spell genrenlly?!?) be lagg... He's talking about an anomoly with LBP that has been there since the release - if you use a bunch of sticker and some big ones, the rendering of the larger stickers is unable to render the edges - I've been able to work around the issue by lowering the number of stickers/decorations used in a level, and by making sure larger ones aren't larger than they need to be. I'm not really sure this will ever be fixed.. and there may be a really good technical reason why it shouldn't. | 2009-12-01 19:36:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
How do you spell genrenlly?!? G-E-N-E-R-A-L-L-Y-I-C-U-P-L-I..oops, got carred away and there may be a really good technical reason why it shouldn't. I agree. | 2009-12-01 19:41:00 Author: Testudini Posts: 3262 |
yeah, i agree, the new material changer sound is dodgy. it seems really out of place | 2009-12-01 23:32:00 Author: TehUberZac Posts: 587 |
I kinda like the sound for some reason... sounds like you're injecting some wacky fluid to change the material. | 2009-12-01 23:43:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
I'm partially upset with the new 'getting levels' addition (when it loads the page). This can be annoying when you click on a creator, press [], and directly click the 'hearted creators' link in the new menu... It takes quite awhile to completely load an entire page of hearted creators, whereas before you could simply close, and interrupt the loading process. | 2009-12-03 18:14:00 Author: miltonTPS Posts: 126 |

I used to have my system lock up quite a bit if I attempted to navigate or not wait long enough for the query results to load properly. I wonder if this was an attempt to remove that impact. | 2009-12-03 18:25:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
