Leerdammer update - save game corrupt

Archive: 7 posts

After updating to the leerdammer update, i got a message saying my save game data was corrupt. The game then continues to load as if i had never been on it before

before the update, it said it was corrupt but would still load it.

Any ideads on how to get my levels and everything else back?

Thanks

Edit: Ok, i've got my levels back, well the ones i published, just need to get the story ones back

I doubt that you can get the story levels back.
And if you import someone else's profile, you will lose the ability to get trophies for this game.

Yup... best to:

1. Play through the story mode again
2. When done with story mode, immediately do a backup so if you have issues again you can restore with story mode complete.

When I downloaded Leerdammer, my playstation and DVR went blank. I had to hard reset. Fortunately everything was still there. I think there might have been a few kinks in the update. I haven't noticed any other problems though. So you should be okay now, if that helps.2009-11-30 20:02:00

my only advice is to back up everything reguarly

I learned from the past.
Every hour a new backup.

I HATE redoing work.

An "autoback" feature would be handy.
like in ued/3dsmax/maya/photoshop you can set an auto-backup save on regular intervals i.e. every 3 minutes.
And when needed you can use autobacks from 3 minutes ago all the way to a few hours ago.
