Sensei's Stupid Castle

Archive: 21 posts

Welllll this level of all the levels makes me annoyed more because i have played through this level many times and lived through every single part without dying but i can't seem to play through the entire level without dying in a place i have made it through before guh!

makes me crazy...i have gone all the way to the ending sumo without dying but it never fails if i make it that far he kills me yet if i previously died i can beat the sumo

i have given up hope for fire pits so this level is the only krick in my neck

(i still need the last three for the collector level's but sensei's is the one that makes me crazy!)

I know how you feel, this level is really annoying but don't worry you will ace it just keep on trying. I screamed my lungs out trying to ace it T__T I just hate those spinning things ahhhhh and the sumo fighter I reach him with weak sweaty hands and tense emotions and he kills me because of this but don't give up dear because you will do it 2009-11-29 20:28:00

That level is easy. Just be patient, and take it slow. Try to remember where the ninjas come out, and go for the Sumo's butt (lolwut) last. Take a breather once you complete a challenging part.

Eventually, you will ace the level. Wait till you get to the bunker! D

oh man... i searched online for the item locations i found this guy who made youtube videos and showed where all the items were:
here is the playlist of prize bubble videos (http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=40BBB171E20D91AE&page=1) (for anyone else who might need it since you already have the strategy guide)... but in the guide it also tells you all different tips doesn't it like for building and all that right? i wanted to get it for that

you know the bunker doesn't even stress me out so much hah because i know it is tough in that spinning wheel maze thing...i made it all the way to the circle spinner without dying i eeeven made it to the circle spinners opening but wasn't there it time to break free...

sensei's castle i know i could ace it and i should do it without even trying since every part i have done without really trying at one point or another that is what is pet peeving me :/ hah still love the game though of course can't help but love it!

It's not that hard, it's an easy level.
The only things i don't like about it:
1) It's too long, probably one of the longest levels.
2) The music is boooring. No wonder nobody uses it on online levels.

The Islands intmusic you mean? Fiddle with it. There's a sexy breakbeat buried in there. I think rtm223 pointed that out to me.

I made it all the way on that level without dying, then the stupid god thing on the lightning cloud came and sat on me. I just about broke my TV.2010-01-10 14:36:00

No, the Islands IntMusic is awesome.
I mean the Sensei Castle Music. It's different from the The First Island Level (can't remember the name) and the Terrible Oni's Vulcano.

SEE? It's different.

LOL! I had to read this thread due to the title. So appropriate! I found this (and the Bunker) to be the only 2 levels that gave me trouble. The big problem with Sensei's Stupid Castle is how blummin LOOOOOOOOOOOONG it takes to get to the boss fight with the Sumo. All those spinny discs just about did my head in. I advise what someone else said - take a little break after an arduous part, that way you come back to it sort of fresh. And as for the Sumo - I took out his butt cheeks first then let him flip me up to the lanterns where I grabbed and dropped at appropriate times. I'm sure, like all the other levels, it's just a matter of learning the timing (like in the final level with the Collector - easy to ace when you've done it enough to know the sequences). Good luck!2010-01-12 00:46:00

Had no trouble with this one whatsoever.
Only "hard" part in the game has to be the wheel in the Bunker for me ^.^

I'm lucky enough to ace all community levels including the Sensei's castle, it took a couple attempts but for me the one where it had the terrible... Oni? Obi? something like that... I found that one more of a challenge to be honest.. neither of them are the easiest levels, far from it in fact but there are definitely some harder ones like the bunker and the skulldoser ouo2010-01-27 17:10:00

I can get through Sensei's Castle with ease now... The first time I went through it was painful, I have no clue why looking back at it.

Anyways, if anybody needs help acing any of the story levels, or DLC ones for that matter, I can gladly give you a hand... If you're on at the same time as me.

Ahh this level was such a pain! I concur with microchirp though. However I distinctly remember that when I tried to ace it, it took me 2 hours non-stop.2010-02-17 12:00:00

I think I got it my first try . Endurance dojo was a bit more difficult, just because the walking board things can be a bit random at times... Sensei's Castle is so easy now, it's ridiculous how hard it was for me the first time through. I guess after you go through and ace everything nothing is really difficult anymore about the story levels. Actually! I hate the final level of the metropolis, it's so easy... Except if you mess up the boss :.
