LittleBigAutumn by Coxy224

My first PSP level, and I like how it turned out. Just made it to get used to the tools and creating in general. Didn't run into many problems to be honest - which is always a bonus.

PSN: Coxy224
Description: Take a trip around LittleBigPlanet in the Autumn and enjoy the autumnal breezy gameplay.

I'll try to add some pics to this thread soon.

Hey Coxy224,

I played your level and loved it! The autumnal atmosphere was definitely present in the color scheme, music, and materials, although I felt the Orient background was a bit off--but perhaps the most compatible of the choices.

What made the level for me was the sound motif, which to me was surprisingly organic. It was successful in making me feel like I'm wandering in a breezy forest, and it never felt contrived at any moment.

Given that this was just your test level, I enjoyed the simple platforming but found nothing particularly innovating gameplay-wise. I loved the atmosphere you created though, and I felt this was the most charming part of the level. I only wished it was longer, even if it only involved strolling and leaping to the sound of monkeys!

Four stars and an author heart.

Hope to see more levels from you in the future,

Wow thanks for the positive feedback and for playing through my level
Yeah I know it's nothing amazingly special gameplay wise, and I'd have liked to have made it longer but I was running out of simple gameplay to fit in with it.
Thanks again for playing

Thanks for playing ARD - glad you liked it.

And thanks Zwol as well for when you do play it. The PSP connection has been kind to me so far - but I am sitting right by the internet wifi thing

This level is awesome! The atmosphere is really good, and works as a simple platforming level.

Something to watch out for: if you jump on top of the door that is winched up, you skip the last puzzle and go straight to the end.

Just played this level, nice little design. Though what supasheep said actually happened to me on my first playthrough so i had to go through again

Cool level. Is there anyway to make it across those platforms that were flipped upside-down alive?2009-12-02 21:43:00

Nice level you got there, Coxy! I liked the look, and some nicely designed puzzles. I'd love to see you take this concept and make it longer - it was VERY short. But, hey! Excellent for a first LBP PSP project!2009-12-03 00:49:00

I played this level, good stuff. The visuals are great, and the gameplay left me wanting for more. It's unfortunate that the level was so short.

Overall it was a very peaceful and fun level though, great work.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys - I'm already starting to lengthen the level so expect a bit more platforming and even more block moving fun soon 2009-12-08 20:28:00
