so when i was playing modern warfare 2 my ps3 went red and the screen went of and when i whanted to start the ps3 the red light flashed so i searched on the internet and came to the conclusion that i got the YLOD and my disc of MW2 is stil in it so what most i do now? its a 2 year old 60 gig ps3 with modern warfare 2 in it

Pay Sony to fix it. Pay a third party to fix it. Fix it yourself. Choice is yours.

I fixed mine myself and got my game that was stuck out, but then after a few days it would just start up to a black screen and not do anything so I just bought a new one.

As soon as I got mine working I grabed everything from the hdd deleted everything else, deactivated the system and traded it in.

Don't take any of the above guys' advice. Do NOT pay Sony or someone else to fix it. Ring Sony and tell them the problem. 2 of my PS3s have broken and Sony replaced them free of charge when I had no warranty for either of them.

As soon as I got mine working I grabed everything from the hdd deleted everything else, deactivated the system and traded it in. Exactly what anyone should do in my opinion...

i cant send it to snoy beqause i broke my ps3 open to get my disc back i thust wait a month and then i wil get a new ps3 from my parents that get the money of my bank acount
