Holiday Plans

Archive: 13 posts

I figured that it would be fun if we all talked about what we're planning on doing for the holidays.

I've got 3 big things planned so far.

1-See my Survivor competition through to the end.
2-Work an extreme amount of hours if possible.
3-Go to this Christmas themed carnival by my house as many times as possible. There's a ton of awesome food and it's been a tradition for my family to make trips there every December.

What about everyone else? Anyone got anything particularly exciting in the works?

Me and my family, aunt, uncle, grandmothers and cousin are going on a one week vacation to Mexico. The actual cruiseship seems more exciting and fun then the trip to Mexico (All you can eat buffet, swimming pool, bowling alley and all that fun stuff.) 2009-11-28 00:28:00

I'm going to Boston, MA for a week to visit my sister, her husband and my two nieces along with my parents and my mother's parents. Should be a full house! If my sister's third child (nephew) decides to arrive a little early it could be a REALLY full house! So exciting!2009-11-28 00:36:00

Going on a 5 or 6 hour flight to Mexico, after stuffing my face with pie and gingerbread. 2009-11-28 02:48:00

Going to the theater and seeing a play of "It's a Wonderful Life".
Dinner at the girlfriend's aunt/uncle/cousin's house.
Last year we went on the Stanley Park christmas train, I have GOT to find some photos to post, as it was all snowy and magical at the time.

other than that and probably a couple of the old christmas parties, relax like crazy.

I REALLY hope it snows this year.

The usual string of holiday parties, and entertaining family from out of town. For New Year's, I'll probably be in bed or curled up on the couch in my pj's with a cup of tea.2009-11-28 04:08:00

Sadly, I'm probably not going to do anything this year, nor celebrate Christmas. I blame the economy.2009-11-28 04:47:00

I have never understood why ameicans call it 'the holiday season'...holidays = summer, not December

Anyway, we'll just be seeing family and friends like always for Crimbo.
For New Year our friends from London are coming up. Last year we set off fireworks in the middle of their road and almost blew up a car (what anyone was doing driving at midnight on New Year's day I don't know)
