Isn't that great!? I saw that early today and started emailing the link out to some folks. Gotta love the Muppets! | 2009-11-26 04:42:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
I'm so curious, cause I see there's a lot of good stuff on that channel, almost all of them were uploaded on the 23rd and there's a link on the channel to there site (though its really disney's but I remember why). Could this be The return of the Muppet Show? *crosses fingers* But I'm definetly subscribing! | 2009-11-26 05:03:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |
Yeah, I posted this around to all my friends the minute I saw this yesterday!! Was actually going to make a thread about it myself right now as I stumbled upon this one. It is pretty darn awesome!! Really brings back that classic muppets vibe. They are doing what they do best, entertaining us through humour and song. We are seriously due for a new big muppet adventure in movies or as a new tv show. The charm is still there, that is for sure!! I HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL LOVE DR. TEETH AND THE ELECTRIC MAYHEM!! Still performed by the orginal voice actor, which makes it extra special to me. Final word: Puppets Rule!! Okay one more line, the amount of viewers this video is getting makes me hope for a better tomorrow!! | 2009-11-26 06:24:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
See that I knew i liked you Rust-bukkit! Yeah Muppets Rule! This vid made me post some pics of my Palisades' Muppet figures in an album. So warm and fuzzy. Makes we wanna go bump my choice of Disney DLC. MUPPETS!!!!! I made my wife watch the link and she drew a brilliant parallel between 'Animal' and my two year old... who also runs around terrorizing everything screaming, "Mama! Da-Da!" Living with Animal always sounded like fun until I actually lived with an animal. | 2009-11-26 06:40:00 Author: Gravel Posts: 1308 |
I forgot to add one random though: The muppets ending a song together in harmony always sends a chill down my spine, in a good way. The kind of voices muppets produce mix together to create something special and it has always been something typical about the muppets for me ever since they did it in the rainbow connection reprise. | 2009-11-26 07:03:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Nothing will ever be awesome again... | 2009-11-26 07:11:00 Author: Foofles Posts: 2278 |
I know I'm probably late to the party on this but the muppets singing bohemian rhapsody is pretty delightful. I will never think of that song the same way again, lol. But seriously, you must realize that you've "arrived" if the Muppets are doing a sendup of your material. I wonder if Freddie Mercury would have laughed or had hysterics. | 2009-11-26 17:41:00 Author: SHENOA77 Posts: 184 |

I love the Muppets, even if they scared me a lot when I was a little kid Wait...what? How can you be afraid of the Muppets? I can understand a certain fear with miss piggy, she's kinda "unstable", but still....wow!! I mean: http://photos.friendster.com/photos/63/27/20497236/14426001223941l.jpg You just wanna hug that, don't you? | 2009-11-27 06:36:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |

Thanks, Rustbukkit! That did my heart such good My heart sort of broke the day Jim Henson died and I also didn't think I'd live through the broadcast of his emotional memorial service (that part where they were all singing.. and the butterflies... oh! *sob*), but here I am alive and well and so relieved to see the Muppets are the same. Where were Capt Link Hogthrob from Pigs in Space and Sweetums, though? I've tried to get my kids into the Muppets but so far they have resisted... however, such ignorance is not acceptable and will be surgically removed from them if necessary. P.S. Personally, I think Freddy would have loved it! The other guys from Queen were obviously keen enough to give them publishing rights. | 2009-11-27 07:43:00 Author: BabyDoll1970 Posts: 1567 |

Wow... just... wow! I'd never actually seen the whole thing, so thanks. No problem, if you look around the related videos you can pretty much see the entire memorial. Frank Oz's speech is especially touching, funny and very touching at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuP6A9-1gyA&feature=related | 2009-11-27 17:40:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
