http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3899/nick2.png F4F: Until this Sunday (11/29). This is my first level. It's pretty short, and not that great in my opinion. It does set up the sequel that I'm working on now though, and the sequel is going to be awesome. I guarantee it.

Had a go at your level, and here's what I liked:

The box-maze was nice, it reminded me of some old school platform games I've played where you have to dodge the spikes in a maze. However, If you wanted to keep them consistent sizes you can use the grid tool (start -> small/medium/large grid) to keep them level and the same size (just count squares).
If you made each box separately, cloning them takes less thermo space and is much easier (L3 while selected, or capture it as an object)

Also, I'm impressed that, being your first level, you made your own characters - most levels I see use MM ones. And the guy with the blood coming out of his neck was quite funny, if not a bit random.

To improve:

This is a personal niggle, but I don't like those "tap to fly" platforms, seeing as if you hold on for too long, you don't go high enough and die, and they're just a bit... rubbish, in my opinion.

You need to include more points later in the level, because (or so I found) you didn't put any after the ones on the clouds.

All you need to do is make sure you evenly spread your points throughout the level, use more variety of obstacles, and make your designs look a little more attractive (for the grassy platforms, you used the circle tool on top of another material - it would look better with bits cut out/added to the bottom of the grass, so it doesn't just look like a green sausage)

Sorry if I was a bit harsh, it's quite a good first level

Just played your level. This will be short as I am using my controler to type atm. Will write more when I get on the computer.

Overall good for a first level. Liked spike maze as well. If you want to add some tension make the spike maze a timed race.
Liked figuring out how to get the difficult bubbles at the beginning.
Good use of story telling. You left us with some unanswered plot questions which entices me to want to play the next level,to find out the rest of the story.

Will try to write more on my pc tomorrow.
