LBP PSP Pre-Order Problem
Archive: 11 posts
I'm so angry at EB Games once again, they said they would be getting the preorder items for LBP PSP but they didn't. This is in Canada btw. I called back almost everyday and they still haven't gotten them yet and know they claim that Canada isn't getting them What should I do? I want the preorder item. | 2009-11-25 04:14:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |

Sounds like this is a case of "You just got screwed". I heard some guy from a gaming website forum, bought a $14.99 priced game on the PS Store, then a few hours later a discount for the game that he already bought came up on the PS Store, the $14.99 price dropped to (if i remember correctly) $7.99. I think the only possible way to get the Pre-Order costumes, is by buying the game at the PS Store (i already read that edit you made). But look on the positive side on not having the physical copy of the game. -The loading is faster (Darth J34O (please don't get angry at me if its incorrect) said that the loading time to load a level is about 30 seconds, while the PS Store version only takes about 8 seconds). -It drains less battery power. -You don't have to worry if you break the UMD. -You don't have lug around the UMD with you. -You get the Pre-Order costumes! Hope that helps. | 2009-11-29 08:20:00 Author: Black265 Posts: 208 |

It is sold in Canada, I am candian and got it on Nov.17th. So they probably mean they dont sell it, but other companys do but dont wanna say that. | 2009-12-01 22:42:00 Author: Schwem00 Posts: 255 |
-The loading is faster (Darth J34O (please don't get angry at me if its incorrect) said that the loading time to load a level is about 30 seconds, while the PS Store version only takes about 8 seconds). Only off by 124. Anyway, I am pretty sure it was Taffey who said that. My sister owns the UMD version, so I can comfirm that the downloaded version is faster and takes up less battery power. | 2009-12-02 02:17:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |
I own both the UMD and download version. The UMD is running on a PSP 1000 and the download is running on a PSP Go. Here are a few example load times I just measured: Initial game load time from the XMB to the in-game warning message UMD: 1 minute 11 seconds Download: 48 seconds Story level load time UMD: 24-29 seconds Download: 15-17 seconds Community level load time (Little Platformer) UMD: 17 seconds Download: 6 seconds New blank My Moon level load time UMD: 9 seconds Download: 4 seconds Base rewind time (placed 1 basic wood block, then hit rewind) UMD: 4 seconds Download: 1 second | 2009-12-02 20:39:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
I am running the downloaded version on my PSP-2000, and my load times for story levels are only about 11 seconds. | 2009-12-02 22:07:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |
