Gravity Crash

Has anyone played this game yet?

To me it seemed a bit average at first, it was fun but the levels felt a bit samey and the astrolander-ish controls were always a bit iffy.

The level editor caught my attention though, i'm having loads of fun making levels in it
All the other user-created levels that i've tried have been rubbish 2 minute jobs with "rate me" in the description ??

I spent some time making a proper level using my level creatory skills from lbp and i think it turned out really nice!
I've only played a few levels of the campaign so i probably don't have the best ideas or a good grasp on the difficulty but i thought it was fun
Search my psn if you want to try it.

Once you've played about in the editor you really start to appreciate the pre-made levels more. Instead of looking at them as random caves you start looking for cool ideas and enemy formations.

I got this today too.

The editor is easy to work with.

I checked out your level and it was well done. The map was huge and there was
a lot going on.

I did two levels so far. Lazer Fortress(test map) and Gradius V. Gradius V has nice clean lines and some LBP type doors and traps.

Was hoping to wait for PixelJunk Shooter for my 2D retro shooter fix, but this one has my attention for sure. I'll be trying out the demo tonight. Thanks for the information!2009-11-25 14:06:00

When i first played this one of the first things i thought is that it was like a cheaper version of PJ Shooter xD

It has similar flying, shooting, enemies, fuel, rescueing, water and lava.
Most of those are probably pretty generic for these games though

Oh and this game definatly needs a better online service.
Disappointingly the rank of your level (which is almost impossible to find out sometimes) seems to be determined by when you published your level and how many times you put "rate me" in the description.
I'm not sure what features you usually get with these small game editors are like but this doesn't even have the basics, i'm not expecting LBP quality but i'd at least like some feedback from the game. Once it's published you never hear from it again!

It's cool and I haven't even messed with the level editor too much yet. I'm having fun playing the levels. I did look at all the units/items I believe and there seems to be things in the game that aren't available in the editor so I'm hoping they can be unlocked like the boss enemies and the teleporters.

I think this game will really need a message board with a decent sized community to really get any kind of decent level sharing going. I don't get the feeling that a lot of people are playing this yet, but I do see it having a cult following. With all the good and popular games coming out right now and with the half off sale of certain PSN games, I have the feeling this one might slip through the cracks.

My LBP levels Honeyland 1 and 2 just got another addition to the series called Honeyland 0003. If you want to play it you'll have to look me up among the Gravity Crash user levels. I'll continue in LBP at one point. LOL2010-04-13 20:40:00

I won that contest. I won a psp go, gravity crash on psp and probably in the very near future the EU blog will announce mine along with four other winners who will have their levels in an official DLC pack when the game releases.2010-04-28 19:25:00
