Fairytale Fightspoms Make a happy ending to this Fairytale Fights! all Hi there! I'd like you all to know I've just published my new level "Fairytale Fights", inspired in Playlogic's new game release. I was preparing a Fairytale level, which some of you tried, with falling stones, ferrysweel, water... etc. I searched for Fairytale games in youtube and watched a video of Playlogic's game, which really inspired me. To be honest, I only had doubts about the candy castle area, but I thought it would be a good change for visuals. Though they'll probably kill me, I'll tell you Playlogic staff has played the level, and they really loved it! So... I would like you all to try it, and let me know what you think! Thanks! PD. I've been trying to publish it with a 5 star rating to get a better "destiny" for the level, but it drops to 4 stars after 20 or 30 plays... and I've tried several times. So I give it up. I'm launching a level with 4 stars with hardly 50 plays... so I never want to talk about stars again, because obviously, our work is rated by "Trolls" .

Hi Poms.. I'm a Troll here. LOL! I love this level. The entry into the level is marvelous and horribly cute. Really imaginative elements adorn this level as well as some interesting and entertaining dangers. I like the book platforms as well as the whole fairytale atmosphere. The waterfalls are also really really cool. As usual, you stun us with visuals and blind us with amazing craftsmanship and well executed lighting. I loved it from the first time you showed it to me. Superb!! 5 stars and a heart! ...though since you say you started over, I will revisit. Hopefully you got my note about the visible wobble bolt.

I've played this several times now, and it definately doesn't disappoint. You've created a beautiful fairytale world with fantastic use of color and decorations. The gameplay is just right for the audience these visuals and title will attract - not very hard, but appropriately so... and extremely fun with well-thought-out challenges. This is one me and my son will definately revisit many times.

Thanks for the feed back friends xD Yeah, what CCubbage mentioned about "not very hard" is very true. I thought the same for long time, but when I saw some friends playing it for the first time I got scared... they just couldn't finish it! in fact, I haven't been able to ace it... and I'm the creator! Anyway, though I still think it's easy, I was going to publish it with normal checkpoints, because I think infinite checkpoints kill the thrill of "having to make it right, because if not... you're out", but then I imagined any kid who got killed all his lifes, wouldn't rate me very high... Yeah, an average player (like Ccubbage xDD) will think it's easy (though I don't think CCubbage has aced it xDDD) Thanks!

I played it today and really enjoyed it, loved the theme and gameplay. The visuals were top notch and intro was great. I had two negatives though, the enemies...didn't like the look of them, I thought you could have made them look better. And the other small negative is that the level is too easy, I was able to ace it on my second playthrough and almost did so in my first. Gave it 4 Stars and a heart, I'll definetly be coming back to it in the future. Also, I think you're alittle paranoid with the whole ratings thing, do you really think there are people out there that are just waiting for you to publish a level so they can rate it low? Really?

It's not everyone that does this, but there are some people that low rate just because they can. Charming. Absolutely charming. The platforming not as challenging as I'd like, but it's oh so cute, how can I complain. I particularly liked the book platforms, waterfalls, spinning windmills, and your color splash. Wonderfully put together. (I can't believe I died like 6 times trying to kill your boss. I'm pathetic.) 5 stars! Good job, poms. Make more.

(that would be... scaring!). But let's not talk about that, let's just talk about the level. Thanks for your good rewiew. I'd say I probably agree with the "negative" points you mentioned, but as I said before, most of us are average players, but there's a big amount of people who just can't get trough levels as easly as we do... .

Visualmente, esta tan trabajado (en realidad, casi que m?s a?n) como The Miracle Of Life, pero la jugbilidad es completamente diferente. Este nivel es f?cil. Pero no lo digo como algo malo; en realidad, teniendo en cuenta sobre lo que trata y la estetica que tiene, casi que me alegra que sea facil. Le pega perfectamente. Realmente parece un cuento de hadas. Debo decir que el nivel no decepciona en ningun momento, especialmente en lo que a zonas secretas y burbujas de premio se refiere. Los/las hab?a a montones! +La estetica es preciosa. +Dificultad f?cil, despreocupada. +Los gatos! +El uso que le has dado a las piedras, para acer palanca con los troncos y levantarlos. +El laberinto final. +El uso de libros y cofres. +A mi hermana peque?a le ha encantado! -En ciertos lugares -especialmente cuando el material chocolate esta presente- me ha parecido casi que demasiado barroco, sobrecargado. Lo he puntuado con 5 estrellas y lo he etiquetado "bonito" Sin duda voy a volver a jugarlo!

I played it again this morning..... my 3 cats sat in front of the screen with their hair slightly raised for just about the entire game. Oh, and I had my wife (who speaks fluent spanish) come in and translate Keldur's feedback for me. I just had to know....

My cat and dog went nutz!! And we all know what happened here.... the same thing that happened to Maxed Out 3..... 4 star levels can be found all over and made in as little as 6 hours... We all know the true rating of both these levels.. Maybe one day Mm will figure out a way to prevent 1,2, star rating on a level that has just recieved 10 5 stars in a row... we can only hope. Anyways, i think there is a silly little clan of a bunch of sackpeople that message each other the second they see a new level out from a creator... I think Jwwwphotos once explained on here to me how this rating system worked.. I have since studied the crap out of it...... so if a level gets 10 5 stars and 1 1 star it will become a 4 star?!?!? well it sure seems this way... maybe i am looking too much into this........ Anyways again.... this level is unreal... Truely up there with Miracle... I still think Bunker is your worst... lol. which i am sure i told you many times, Fairytale Fights is a true Masterpiece Poms. Keep your chin up!! Which from reading this thread you are!! you got 5 stars and a heart from me.. O and plz..... take it easy on me lbpc... lol...... But i really believe these "trolls" msg each other. So even if they have just 5 people to rate low. that is enough to destroy anyones hard work.

Thanks fijski8 for your feedback. I think no one is that "organized" to rate someone's level one star. It's just that kids (and not so kids) are rating any level one star. And this is not paranoid. I've seen it, and I've suffered it several times. But, as I told you when we talked with mics, it's not so important to get 5 stars if you don't reach first page of highest rated, because if you are in forth page, it doesn't matter how many stars your level has got, you won't get many plays there. And the only important thing is to get plays. As I told you, would you prefer a 5 star level with 2000 plays, or a 4 star level with 80000 plays and 15000 hearts? I prefer the second. Regards!

I think I know where you're going I also loved making and playing "The Miracle of Life" xDD. The thing is to get into one of these projects, I need to feel I'm into something new, or something I've not done before... or else, I get demotivated. Though I won't deny I have thought of making some sequel to some of my levels... Atlantis will have to wait I wasn't lucky enough to be picked for water beta, and I have no idea of how water works. And I can't make a "water level" full of cristal and jetpack when real water is comming... But I've already been working on greek architecture, scultures and visuals of Atlantis, so this level will be there few weeks after water is released.

Another fantastic level to add to your others. I always appreciate variety in visuals and gameplay which were all present in this level. The crazy elements made it stand out. Its a shame that its harder for successful creators to achive the ratings they deserve. This gets a big 1 star and good grief from me lol. Joking 5 stars and hearted.

I played every single level you have made. When I was a noob at lbp the first level I played was Hells Angels. I loved it and all your ideas are creative and pretty original but awsome job on all of them but I'm still waiting for your new release thats if you ever make a new level or maybe your just busy with the LBP 2 beta.
