NAT help

| Well i decided to make my NAT open because i have trouble connecting to some games and some search times are very long. Modern warfare says im at "Moderate" which if you dont know is the middle. After an hour of long confusing computer stuff i did exactly as the tutorial said and opened Xbox live for my internet. But when i go on Modern warfare 2 it now says my NAT is "Strict" But i appear to be finding games faster and being able to connect to my friends parties. | So you were having trouble connecting to games in the first place? If you're not behind a firewall and don't have any specific ports blocked on your network (and odds are you don't have these things) I can't imagine why your NAT settings would need to be anything other than the router default. NAT is actually very confusing, I'm not sure about anything I'm about to tell you, but if your friends have Open NAT, then your Strict NAT will help you find games and all that. My NAT used to be Strict, and my friends would also be Strict. Therefore we couldn't join, once he changed his to Open we would be able to play with each other. However, that may not be your case seeing as how your finding games faster. It may just be what you think it is (it's open but says it's strict.)
