I realised I should have checked if there were any other threads like this, blame my n00biness The news thing on the Info Moon thing in LittleBigPlanet has said the exact same thing for me since I got the game, has it changed for any of you?

It last changed in February I think it was. Yep, this (along with the play/create/share ratings) is one of the things that seems to have been completely forgotten. they should update it... or just remove both things, because it's kinda useless now <_>.

I still can't believe they don't use the news section. Seriously it's so ridiculous. In this day and age it's possible to freaking post on a website and update another one automatically. The news section could basically be their blog and they could update both on the web and in the game with the snap of a finger. .

Does anyone know if there was ever a recent interview with someone from MM about the news page where they answered why it hasn't been used at all for 9 months now, and only updated like three times before that? It has so much potential, and as RangerZero said would be fairly easy to intergrate into the blog... So has anyone have a link to where someone from MM answered a question pertaining to this? If not, someone should ask them... CC apparently got them to fix the search bug (odd how they finally did it because he kept bugging them) and he frequently talks with them, i know... perhaps he can get some semblance of an answer? I unno, someone has to ask.

I think at the least hooking it up to twitter would be good. Does MM have twitter? It's just a few games have it. Or one I know. Maybe make it open the browser to their news site. Criterion Games did that with Burnout Paradise. [remembers the DLC *sigh* =) ]

I think they're working on a different system which will make it much easier to update the News Moon, but don't take that as official info as I'm not 100% sure.

They might not be fixing the PCS points because it might require more data on the server to count up everything everyone has done. My solution: Get new servers. -Fixes lag. -Fixes PCS. -Probably some other things. But it probably isn't that easy...

Definitely worth the time in my opinion, no matter what time I go on LBP 6am or 6pm I get some lag. In the mornings it's okay and I can play until about 2pm, but later on in the day the lag is crazy! I can play any other game online okay later on in the day though.

Definitely worth the time in my opinion, no matter what time I go on LBP 6am or 6pm I get some lag. In the mornings it's okay and I can play until about 2pm, but later on in the day the lag is crazy! I can play any other game online okay later on in the day though. I agree it would be fantastic for gamers but business-wise it's not a good move. Would take too much time and money that could be used to make more money. Remember Media Molecule is a business first and foremost, just like all other dev and publishers. .

what exactly are the play, create, share points for? They are for show. To create questions in people's mind. Seriously, it's just a feature that is bugged since launch. They never fixed it and prolly never will I guess. In my humble opinion it one less useless stats that only makes this community better. There's enough stupidity and bragging already with the trophies, hearts and plays as it is. .

OMG, yes, it's a freaking joke! A "nightmare"? Is that so MM? The only nightmare here is that you deprive us of a great infomoon! And I definitely agree with ranger about these "pcs" points. They'd be another useless thing players could brag about. How the heck would it even work!? Things it probably wouldn't take into consideration are time spent creating, quality, sharing things you actually made instead of taking other's stuff...
