I wish the boards were more heavily populated

Archive: 29 posts

It would be nice if the boards were more heavily populated. It seems these boards aren't that active, but then again this game is over a year old.2009-11-21 16:29:00

Umm, look here.
Active Members: 1,324
I got that from the homepage. They aren't that active when you factor in the 6000+ members, but, 1324 active members is still a lot.

You... you're kidding right?

I already have enough trouble keeping up with new posts as it is, I don't want to be spending my whole day in here.

If I hit "New Posts" -> "Previous Visit" I usually get around 4-5 pages of updated threads between when I last went to sleep and when I woke up. I do "Mark Forums Read" every couple of hours, and I get around 3 pages of updated threads to sift through by then.

There's 25 threads per page, and that doesn't count when there are multiple replies in the same thread...

Which forum have you been visiting???

Plus the community is generally high quality, with no real "trolls" per say which pretty much comes with bigger forums...

... and besides, what exactly is the feedback? How should the boards be more populated? What could be done (outside of dumbing down the boards)? :/

In that case I vote that we solve the problem by distributing their experience among all the users with "gamesh" in their username .

All in favor? Me. All opposed? *Silence*.

Now that the issue has been democratically resolved, let's get to it, chop chop!

I'll agree to that, as long as no one asks for usernames with "awesbr" or "organa25". They have enough.

Back on topic, for a game that's a year old, LBP enjoys a good influx of permanent and new players. Since LBPC is such a great community (and possibly due to the Logic Pack), we also have a good number of permanent and new members.

Plus as RockSauron pointed out, the quality of the members here is arguably better than on some random board like gamefaqs or joystiq that are filled with trolls and mods on powertrips.

Edit: Lol @v0rgamesh

Is this game hard to 100%? I mean is it hard to ace certain levels or obtain certain prize bubbles?2009-11-21 19:02:00

Yeah, it is. But, that has nothing to do with your topic, does it?
Lol, is there a rule against hijacking your own thread?

This game is the easiest game "to 100%" that I've had. There's nothing that's not do-able. Some things are difficult (The Bunker) but they're all do-able.

It's pretty easy IMHO. It's the only game I have 100% trophies on.

Not that I can access my trophies any more.. :/

Well this one thread has had 20 responses in 4 hours. Make that 21.

135 people online at the moment is also quite a few. For a single game, on a single system, that's quite a busy forum. Especially when you consider that there is very little spam and flaming going on here.

... but just to add a little spam, I like the sound of BuzAmesh.

Ooh, and rtm223, I'm just going to send you 1xp for the 21st post in the thread. Well done, sir!

EDIT: Hee hee, done it!

Dude, you need to stop hijacking your own thread. What has this to do with your original post? This question deserves its own thread - in the Help! or Everything Else LittleBigPlanet forums (and please search first to see if someone else has already asked this or a similar question).2009-11-21 22:48:00

Eh wut?

Not really sure if youre talkin' bout LBP or LBPC. If you were talkin' about LBP you might wanna go back to CODMW2 based on that question.
