Heyho, just wanna say 'Hallo'
Archive: 17 posts
Well... here goes: First some basics: My name is Felix (PSN-ID: foellers) and I live in Bremen, which is somewhere in the north-west of Germany. I'm 23 years old and study law at the University of Bremen. LittleBigPlanet was pretty much the first game I owned for the PS3, but I still don't know why it took me so long to register here... This seems to be a pretty awesome comunity... and thanks big time for the LogicPack-Tutorials. Those are really great. If I would have done them before starting to create my own levels, I think they would've been hell of a lot better. But I hope my future Creations will be. I'm not saying they're bad, but they're missing something I can't quite put my finger on (can you say that like this in english?) soo, what's left to say? Except for 'Hallo, nice to meet you', I think that's it for now PS: Who of you english-speaking folks say 'Hello' and who says 'Hallo'? Is it one of those british english - american english things? | 2009-11-20 12:29:00 Author: foellers Posts: 9 |

We say 'Hello' in England...isn't 'Hallo' the german? Welcome...z | 2009-11-21 15:41:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Well.... yes it is, but I thought in english you might say both... Depending on where you live and whatnot... That's how I learned it at school and we've been taught british-english or I least I thought we did^^ | 2009-11-21 15:55:00 Author: foellers Posts: 9 |
I've never heard an English person say 'Hallo' unless they were doing a german impression | 2009-11-21 15:59:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
it wouldn't be a matter concerning pronounciation. It's just the spelling... Meaning, both versions of "hello" sound the same, just the spelling differs. | 2009-11-21 16:03:00 Author: foellers Posts: 9 |
