http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/board/message?board.id=announcements&message.id=14#M14 An update for all versions of LittleBigPlanet on PSP has been released in SCEE, SCEAsia/Korea and will be released in SCEA later today. Due to the nature of updating on PSP it is not possible to automate this process, so to update your version of the game please take the following steps : - Locate the LBP icon on the XMB - Press Triangle - Select 'Update' - Follow steps as dictated by the updater This update resolves several minor issues with the game and improves game physics in Create mode. We encourage all users to update as soon as possible in order to get the best experience possible from their game. | 2009-11-20 11:53:00 Author: mnimmo1986 Posts: 552 |
There is updated available for the PSP. It fixes some physics stuff in create mode and other issues in the game. It's not automatic however. Link (http://www.littlebigland.com/little-big-planet-news/lbp-psp-updated/) | 2009-11-20 11:54:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |

This update resolves several minor issues with the game and improves game physics in Create mode What exactly does that "improving game physics in create mode" entail? Are the numerous physic bugs fixed(the objects collapsing/exploding)? Somebody please test it and inform the community | 2009-11-20 12:49:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
Awesome, good to know they're already working on patches. I haven't run across any bugs in my short bouts in Create mode though. | 2009-11-20 13:31:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
Can anybody please detail what the bug fixes entail? | 2009-11-20 14:03:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
I see several mentions around teh interwebz of the Create Mode no longer randomly crashing. | 2009-11-20 14:11:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
I'm specifically referring to the unstable physics and the random exploding/collapsing of objects... is it rectified? | 2009-11-20 14:48:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
Why don't you try it yourself. | 2009-11-20 15:31:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
My parents are giving me the game--along with a 3000--for Christmas; besides, the patch hasn't released in the States... | 2009-11-20 15:33:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
I see, than you can be a bit more patient. If it remains broken you can just tell you parents not to get it. | 2009-11-20 15:45:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Wow. That would suck. Lay off, Syroc, he already has to wait until Christmas >.< (Not to mention the people who want the download version are STILL waiting for Sony to fix their mistake...) | 2009-11-20 15:47:00 Author: Sackwise Posts: 305 |
Wow. That would suck. Lay off Syroc, he already has to wait until Christmas >.< It was facetious advice, hence the smily. Also your comma is in the wrong position. PS: I shut up now before someone hits me. :hero: | 2009-11-20 15:57:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Hey, remember how we all played that game "Pretend ARD is a pi?ata"? /looks at Syroc/ | 2009-11-20 16:14:00 Author: Sackwise Posts: 305 |
My parents are giving me the game--along with a 3000--for Christmas; besides, the patch hasn't released in the States... Wait, so you're ranting about it being unstable when you don't actually have the game...? | 2009-11-20 16:25:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
no, I'm merely wondering whether the create mode remains unstable, so I have an idea of what to expect once I get the game... | 2009-11-20 16:36:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
I've used Create Mode two times. Both times have crashed due to pressing the Rewind button. I'm going to have to say good-bye to LBP PSP if that doesn't get fixed. | 2009-11-20 16:37:00 Author: aer0blue Posts: 1603 |
I've been messing with create mode for the last week and it's run flawlessly the whole time. | 2009-11-20 16:39:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
... The... ummm... demo doesn't crash... *Runs to my corner and cuts wrist while listening to System of a Down* | 2009-11-20 16:42:00 Author: FULLGORR Posts: 245 |

Could you please try the create mode again and tell me if it's fixed with the patch? | 2009-11-20 17:03:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
I could give it a shot, I'm all done with story mode. After I'm done testing a recording, and seeing if i can add my PSP king and queen onto the gallery. I'll try it out, i want to see if I can recreate my golf course level on the PSP. | 2009-11-20 19:30:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |
thank you, tell me what you find | 2009-11-20 20:09:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
So...anyone figured out why it's on v2.01 already? This game is built so unorthodoxy it's scary. | 2009-11-20 20:12:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |

...I know... | 2009-11-20 20:17:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
That doesn't explain the numbering of the updates...lbp ps3 hasn't reached 2.0 if I'm not mistaken... | 2009-11-20 20:17:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
It's LBP 2, innit? | 2009-11-20 20:18:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
That doesn't explain the numbering of the updates...lbp ps3 hasn't reached 2.0 if I'm not mistaken... No game has. Everything about the way this game has been put together is different...the basic folder structure is there but...I mean, have you seen the savedata? | 2009-11-20 20:19:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Well i only have the demo, but there's savedata for the demo and savedata for for install data... | 2009-11-20 20:22:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
I mean look at what the savedata contains. | 2009-11-20 20:27:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Somebody please tell us, are the bugs fixed??! I have been searching far and wide for an answer, nobody is going into detail... | 2009-11-20 20:57:00 Author: zeldarocks Posts: 120 |
I don't extract files from the savedata, so I dunno...wouldn't I need some sort of extracting program (which I don't have?) Does this go back to that bink thing you were talking about lbp psp and ps3 running on? And zeldarocks, relax. If the bugs aren't completely fixed, they are at least partially, and will completely be in the future. And from what I understand here, they don't even affect most people...so don't worry about it. | 2009-11-20 23:24:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
I mean look at what the savedata contains. indeed, over 50 files :kz: | 2009-11-20 23:30:00 Author: oldage Posts: 2824 |
I bought the UMD (while I wait for the PSN download) and installed the patch. I noticed that the level "High on Rugs" is named "Rugs and Kisses" in my game. Does anybody know if this was part of the patch? I always liked the name "High on Rugs" but it is awfully edgy for a game rated E, so I can understand why they changed it. | 2009-11-22 17:30:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
It was always 'High on Rugs' for me :/ | 2009-11-22 17:37:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Is it still called that in your game and have you installed the patch? I suppose it could be a region thing. | 2009-11-22 17:48:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
It dindnt fix anything D: there are still tons of bugs | 2009-11-22 18:04:00 Author: Unknown User |

Apparently there are some Level name differences between the US version and the EU version. http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu/board/message?board.id=b_EN_GAMES_general_lbp&message.id=51145#M51145 | 2009-11-22 18:37:00 Author: mnimmo1986 Posts: 552 |
Thanks for the notice. My friend bought it and i will let him know to update his game. And wow already an update? | 2009-11-22 19:00:00 Author: Snrm Posts: 6419 |
Umm.. I also noticed that the 2.01 patch has changed the game icon on the XMB, and the XMB background wallpaper that the game uses when you highlight LBP. Minor changes, I know, but it's something I noticed. I'm using the USA/Canada DOWNLOAD version on my PSPgo. | 2009-12-01 16:54:00 Author: Unknown User |
Yeah, it seemed to disable the PIC0 and the PMF file, and the AT3 for that matter, but I can live with it. | 2009-12-01 16:58:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Umm.. I wish I knew what that means.. I wonder if they'll be changing those with each future update.. It's kinda trivial, but it's still kinda cool that they can do that in a patch. Yeah, it seemed to disable the PIC0 and the PMF file, and the AT3 for that matter, but I can live with it. | 2009-12-01 17:35:00 Author: Unknown User |
