Found this on littlebigWorkshop from Sam_Protaginist http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/board/message?board.id=pod&thread.id=106998&view=by_date_ascending&page=5 The delay of the North American digital release has been caused by a late error found with the game that would cause problems with online connections for some users. The delay has been rectified, but it has needed to clear testing again before it can be released. If it clears testing today it will be released today, if not it will release with the first store update after testing has been passed. It's regrettable that there is any delay, particularly given PSP-Go users' reliance on digital delivery, but it has been unavoidable. Great now i'm lost, i thought it was the Firmware update that caused this problems, and why didn't this affect the other versions (foreign and UMD)? *sigh* Maybe i ought to get the UMD version. Is it possible for me to get the UMD version, play that, then when the download finally comes, I can get that, get the bonus costumes, and still keep my save? I'm hoping someone hear could know. (I could just give the UMD to my brother along with my old PSP2000) I took the week off from work to catch up on schoolwork and play LBP PSP, this is leaving me so depressed, I can't even focus clearly on my homework.

okay good, I thought something could go wrong, cause I thought there would be problems with install data from the DL version (with the bonus 6) when the UMD's install data is already on there (I can delete that right?) Well if it isn't up tonight after the store updates (I might wait a half hour after its up) I'm just going out to get the UMD, I can't wait any longer, i need something to cheer me up (playing the PS3 version for once, doesn't help)

Sorry of the double post but I found an update on the why's (mainly why the US and not eh foregin and UMDs) Its found on the same link from above but on page 6, again by Sam Unfortunately I can only answer questions when I have the right information, and it's not been until now that the full picture of what the delay is down to has been known to me. The different releases of the game in different regions are, perhaps unsurprisingly, different to one another which is why others are not affected by the same problem. I'm not certain where you heard that it was a PSN issue causing the delay, but that's not the information I have. If there's any more to report I'll update further, and if the game is not coming today I'll update as soon as I know.

The actual reason for the online crash is that if you have over 50 friends on PSN, your game locks up when you try to do any online stuff, regardless of umd or download.

sigh well i can't wait any longer. Well at least now I know I can get the umd and can get the download version whenever it comes out and still get the bonus costumes AND have my save. Well i'm going out to get it, I can't stand it any longer. Did they at least fix that online glitch gevurah said?

But now that i have the UMD, I checked it I could go online I just download jackofcourses level (will play and record it after I finish story mode, and i remake my king and queen) and I have 100 friends, so it doesn't look like its that.

Eh, take it all with a grain o' salt, I say. I'm disappointed that the thing isn't out on psn when it was supposed to be in the US of A, cause i forwent the umd in order to get the download version as i hate how umd's kill my battery, but there is no need as i see it to get ones shorts in a wad. I mean really. I remember it was much worse when lbp got delayed. I thought i was gonna get to buy one when i got to work that day, as nobody had heard official word of a recall. then, just before i was gonna buy one, I found the company's official recall notice in the mail. I myself then had to round up the entire stock in the back, and send them to be shipped back to wherever they came from. I was sad the whole day. but yea, I think the umd's in our games case at work are mocking me. every time i walk by sackboy is just looking at me like "hey, stupid! You could always buy me instead of that fancy-pants digital copy!" what was i talking about again?

Six of them. If you preordered the game, or if you'll be downloading it within the first 2 weeks, you get a tank costume, a helghan, nathan drake and chloe fisher, and 2 ...other costumes from some game I don't play...is it...umm...don't remember...sorry
