I am Slit518 on the Playstation Network, I am new to Little Big Planet, had it for about a week now, love the game. I hope to create some really neat levels. If you have any tips or hints please share them here. I already beat the game BUT do not have all the pieces. I own the game of the year edition.

Welcome! Glad ya made it! Really cool that you have LBP now! Just about a year ago, my girlfriend did the same thing and we are still playing and creating! Rseah has some great tips for you already, but I might add that when starting in create mode try simple wacky things just to get an idea how it all works. Whatever sparks your interest really. The in game tutorials for all the tools are pretty handy as it covers quite a bit of the tools. Let us know if you have any questions! Have fun!

Hello there, well done for buying the game, that's a decision that you will never regret. If you need help creating, check out the Tutorial Forum. (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=75) My advice with creating is: just have fun for now, don't worry about creating a level at MM's standard. Just try out new things and explore the fantastic level creation tools that the game has to offer. Once you know your way around create mode, that is when I'd suggest you start work on a big project. Welcome! Well, the one thing that I did to learn how to make better levels was play other peoples levels. You just don't think of some things until you see other people making amazing stuff. Also check out the tutorials and help sections here on the site. Very helpful. Good Luck and Have Fun!

Hello and welcome : ) If you haven't got some of the items, do you know what it is you HAVEN'T done? You get cool things for acing levels, etc. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll figure it out and once you start creating, the love affair with LBP really begins (or is that love/hate relationship?) Cheers!

I haven't gotten everything, I am working on getting 100% of the items in certain levels and acing them. I might want to ace them first then get 100% of the items or vice versa, depending on the level. Also the DLC wasn't free, it jacked the price of the game up another $20 while the original is $40 instead of $60.
