Global Lighting Tool.

I'm having a weird problem with the GLT that probably has a stupidly simple solution. I placed it, set it to the lighting that I wanted and set the trigger radius so that the player can't avoid activating it. But when I go into Play Mode and get to the point with the GLT... nothing happens. I tried hooking it up to a sensor switch, but still, nothing. What could be causing this?2009-11-18 04:14:00

Did you configure the time it takes to change to the lighting you wanted? That could be the problem.2009-11-18 04:58:00

You could delete it and use a different one, I know it might sound weird but in the past I've encountered a few tools that didn't work, so I just used another and it worked.2009-11-18 06:28:00

I encountered a problem where if you attach a switch to certain tools, then detatch it, it loses the ability to detect by prox. In these cases attaching another switch to it would still work so I doubt this is the case for you.

I'd go with Endless Echo and remake it. Shouldn't take too long.

This was probably the problem. For some reason, I figured that "Time" meant how long before the lighting turns back, so I set it to about 2000 seconds. I took Echo's advice and just deleted it and created a new one, and that fixed it. Thanks all.
