It's great. That's all I can say. I LOVE the jumping. I LOVE the simplicity. Create may be a bit to get used to...but I think it'll be good. I think we'll see more value in created objects as community prizes and I think that level creation will become a bit more of an intimate experience. It truly is a BETTER translation of LBP than I ever could have imagined for the PSP. I can not wait for you guys to get going. This is gonna be fun.

#7 Its not up on the PS Store, I was waiting with great anticipation. When i saw Assassins Creed Bloodlines was up on the PS Store but not LBP PSP, It almost made me cry with great sadness. I'm NOT joking! :kz:

I pre-ordered LBP for PSP and purchased my PSP & LBP last night. I played through the first two levels and had a blast - though I find that I tend to have difficulty seeing the screen sometimes... I also bought the LBP PSP carrying case (it came with a sackboy!!) and the LBP book that just came out.

Yeah I'm peed off with PLAY.com. Had it pre-ordered since the 5th of September. They've had it in stock since last week with delivery within 24 hours and mine still hasn't arrived. GRRR !!

Any other time Play would have posted a pre-order out for delivery a day before the release. That's all I've experienced before off them, and that's what I was hoping in this case too, which is why I ordered my copy off there too At the moment mine is still being classed as 'Packing', and that was from this morning!!!

This will be announced later apparently once it's gone through numerous Sony people and gets to some one who is 'allowed' to announce it I haven't dared mention this over on the workshop because it manic over there and I don't fancy fuelling it when I don't have to I'm guessing the response here will be a little less hostile...(please!!!) Anyway, this is what I got told from a trusty source. Saying that, if it could get delayed without anything being announced I'm sure it could get put forward again too

(Keep it off LBW though as I think someone is announcing it soon hopefully, I'd rather not be the one who broke such news) I've just read what I actually got told an hour ago, and they said ''the game isnt on psn until tuesday in America, and tomorrow here'' Now, seeing as Tuesday has passed, surely that means next Tuesday, and they were definitely aware of the delay so it's not like they were just telling me the dates that the game should have been released on. Make of it what you will, I suppose. It's what I got told, but I probably should have pressed for a little more detail

I just came back from the store with LBP in hand (UMD version). I'll be giving it a go on the train ride home. I'm pretty conflicted though... should I finish with the story mode or jump straight into create? It sucks about the PSN version though. This is the first time I've ever heard of this kind of problem with PSP games through PSN.

Hopefully what I got told is all wrong and you'll have it sooner I got told from someone in Cambridge Studios. They knew nothing of the delay until I mentioned it to them, then they went to find out what it was all about and came back and said I wrote earlier. They said it had to go through all sorts of Sony people before the announcement because EU and America have different people running different stuff etc. So it could all change again from what she told me

I feel your pain.... We all do. This is the first time I can recall in the past decade that I've actually regretted buying a Sony product. I got the UMD in the mail today and have just about beat the game now. Everything about it is better than I expected. Very nice and cute levels. No jaw-dropping contraptions, everything's very simple. The backgrounds look amazing. Music is beautiful minus a couple of pop tunes. My only problems are how tiny Sackboy is, you can't see the costumes very well and the analog nub is a bit hard to use.

I asked myself the same thing but once I started playing I couldn't put the story mode down I have to admit, ARD, you were right on the money. The story levels are awesome. I just finished getting through the second curator (dragon chase FTW). The loading times on UMD aren't that bad IMO. I've played games with worse loading times than this, for playing sessions that were much shorter than the time it takes to go through the levels (albeit, while hunting for prizes). I can also take advantage of the loading time to multitask with LBP PS3 (which I did, I'm awesome like that ). I dabbed a bit in create mode, but I just listened to the tutorials while doing things in LBP PS3. Contrary to what I was led to believe, there are only 5 layers though. Making a mech or libidus level will be a bit more difficult than I thought, but I think I might still be able to pull it off somehow. I wanted to check out how the community moon worked but I had to update twice just to be able to sign into the PSN, so I didn't have time to check it out.

I have it. I live in the UK and it comes out tomorrow, but it arrived yesterday, which I count as a bit of win. Not having played the PS3 version much (apart from at a friends house) I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have so far found it amazing. Story mode is really fun, and create mode seems good but a but complicated for me at the moment.
