4. Get Safari or Firefox. I used Firefox for a while, and, yes I miss the add-ons, but Google Chrome seems a lot faster on my laptop, which is what I really care about with such a slow internet in general at my house.

meh, on my downstairs pc, chrome isn't faster, and on my mac, chrome doesn't run yet, so i can't compare. But from what i have seen, i prefer the layout of Safari and firefox, if nothing else...
