Hi, right now I'm making a boss fight, but what I need help with, is at the end, once you destroy it, I want it to trigger a door to open, and I have no idea how to do this.

Attach a mag switch to the room with the area of whereer the boss goes, (Full room) Set it to direstional and inverted and attach it to the piston, Attach a mag key of the same colour to the boss when the boss is destroyed the door will open.

Also, if there's a part of your boss made of dissolve, put a mag key on that dissolve and put a mag switch in range but not on the dissolve. With that mag switch set to "inverted", it means it will not activate for as long as the dissolve is there. When your boss dies (dissolve disappears) the mag key will also disappear and then your mag switch will activate (opens your door). .

If a mag key is attached to a non-dissolve material on a creature will it still disappear and activate the key when the creature is killed since the creature itself dissolved?

As long as the key on the creature dissolves, the key switch will activate and open the door.
