Behind the Falling Blocks [Hard]
An evil mastermind has built an automated factory to construct oddly shaped blocks and is dropping them upon the world from a massive airship, are you a bad enough dude to stop it?

I like challenges, so I made the level perhaps a bit "over the top" hard (although not "insane/lucky") -- but it's intended, how I want it to be. So if you just want to breeze through a level in 1-3 tries, I'd recommend you do not play this level (will only get frustrated for nothing). For reference, if you thought acing The Bunker was hard, this is definitly not for you.

You will start in the factory and are required to find your way up to the supply launching section to board the Airship.

Be warned, even if you don't die a lot, the level will easily need 1+ hour to go from start to finish (subsequent playthroughs are a bit shorter since a long section can be skipped with a sticker).

Can be played at 2+ players, but some sections of factory may be very very difficult to do in sync. Later parts shouldn't be an issue (should in fact be more fun).

Good luck, as this is written, there is still no one that has completed it beside myself. I could make it easier, but I want whoever manage to finish it to think "I did it!".

A small tip: Never forget about the Dark Red Block you find early.

If you really have problems with specific jumps/sections, feel free to ask, I'll give some pointers. Try not to give up too fast

Go there for a bit more screenshots (a few sections/elements have been excluded not to spoil, so expect a bit more as well): http://ionen.ath.cx:7420/bfb/

Thanks for trying, I hope at least one person will manage to finish it.

I could make an easier version, but the entire thing was designed around being hard given easy levels personally bore me. But I guess not many feel that way.

For those that are trying it, I'd love to know how far you managed to go, and what gave you the most trouble. I may consider revising specific sections if many have trouble with it.

Also, the conveyor at the start may feel a bit hard/lucky at first, but be sure to watch/wait for the openings and not attempt to jump at random. It gets pretty easy after some practice (imo at least). Harder sections come after that.

Here's four small tip for the early sections while at it:

# Blue/Purple Gas Area
- If you miss the early jumps a lot and gas is starting to creep up from below, go back to the button and press it again to reset the gas (instead of dying). Same for the upper section (you may want to start jumping on the barrel to give it a up/down motion, then go back the button for more time -- note that before the button can work again, need to wait a few seconds without touching it).

# Contraption next to the Assembly Line (reached after the ball-rolling mini-game)
- Start running from inside the narrow entrance, and with the speed you gained keep yourself "in sync" with the platform. Falling down should be easy then.
- To reach the higher narrow passage after that, _do not jump_ just let the platform carry you up near the spikes then hold right to enter it as it starts going down (clearing the path). The timing can be a hard to grasp as first.
- When dropping down between the spikes, try to drop toward the right side of the passage, the spikes are a little less close the edge, making it easier to make it in.
(I hope giving two double-life checkpoints was enough for that section, to some extend, I believe it's the hardest section in the level)

Also, note that those two sections can be done in any order. Personally I usually do the gas last given I find it easier (so I have less to redo if I fail on the harder section -- although personally it's rare I fail it anymore). Also gas section has access to many checkpoints (like, you can go back to the entrance to use the start point, or double-life, if need be), so less chance for "game over" (while the other keep you stuck down until you open the path).

Now this I must try.

Also, please do not make it easier. You intended it hard, so it should stay hard, IMO. ^_^

Good luck, and thanks.

And yeah, I really don't want to make it easier, but it's rather depressing if no one finish your level besides you. I hope you can "fix" that

Remember to ask if you're unsure how to deal with a section/jump. Some parts of the level may need a bit of thinking/looking-around (it's not the kind of level where you just move forward and forget what's behind).

I'd especially like to know what people thought of the ending.. but I think no one even made it to the second half of the level yet (from other feedback I got).
