Hi! Sara (xkappax) and I were chatting today when we came up with an interesting concept, which popular creators on this forum might like to participate in. We thought it would be cool to create 'Level Crossovers' once 'Online Create' is released. If you do no understand what I mean by this, look at this example: Take two or more famous creators (eg, MrsSpookyBuz and jump_button). Put them together into an empty level and let their imagination run wild, creating a level using their trademark techniques and mixing them together. For example, jump_button is famous for his crazy worlds and great attention to visuals while MrsSpookyBuz focuses more on compelling gameplay. If you put them together you will get something pretty amazing I would say! If you are interested send an email to me, if anyone wants to help me (and possibly Sara) arrange this also just send me a PM. This series (if it proves successful with lot's of interest) will be created under the PSN: LBPC_Crossovers and each level name will be creator name and creator name: Level name, usually a mix up of the two creators most famous level/level series For example: MrsSpookyBuz & jump_button: Hyper Sky Town/ Sky Sphere It will be split into sub-divisions. The Sub-Divisions are... 1. Famous + Famous 2. Non-Famous + Non Famous 3. Non-Famous + Famous Join the group if you want to participate! lol what was that? you basically just raped this page with your beta boasting foshame Ide like to see people working together but i myself couldn't imagine making a level with another person, I build by brainstorm and create as i go along. To have another person in my create mode trying to do the same would be a little difficult, although getting a mic would probably help to exchange ideas on the fly.

Sounds like a fun idea but it will be hard because you can't talk to eachother if you don't have headsets. If you just build random you might get an original level but I doubt it will be better than levels that were made by one of these creators : The idea is fun though and i'd love to work with anyone here

This is a good idea, though there are quite a lot of creators who have joined forces already (and I'm sure there'll be more). And I'm guessing there'll be a bit of a scramble once Online Create is released to the masses. I did have a brief conversation with plasmavore about this. My suggestion was that this would be an even better idea if some of the more experienced creators were to team up with other members who don't have as much expertise. This way, the inexperienced creators get a chance to learn and even get to see some of their ideas come to fruition. Play, Create, SHARE!

I know that the workshop have a very organised version of this. "Team Epic" has like 100 people signed up and teams of four are randomly chosen to work together for when OC comes. Each of the four members have to sign up to be in a specific group. Mechanic Visualist Random Crapper () Leader (Basically just does bits and bobs and keeps everything on track) But you don't have to be stuck solid in these groups, they're flexible. Maybe the guys and gals on here would like to keep to themselves and have our own version. I'm just showing you what they have going on.

Im not famous at all ^^; maybe better know but, anyone can make the level I make easy I'am same as everyone. I love to work with other but really most of the time I'am looking at the screen and thinking lol and I dont know if i have the time never mind to try and time it with someone. I'm sure if any creaters get togather anyone can make a level just as good as level as anyone who is so called famous.

I think it would be nice to have sub-division of non-famous creator (who are not bad, just not well-known) crossovers. And another sub-division where famous teams up with not to make a super special awesome level! I also like the idea posted on the workshop about having different categories. It makes sense to select people with skills that compliment each other. Maybe switch it up a bit from what they've done, but you need some way of selecting a set of skills for the group, rather than just purely random selection.

I have to agree with TheJollyRajah; as well, I'm listening to Sackcast RIGHT NOW and they just brought this up... "How do you decide who is famous?" I mean, not only is there no accurate manner of deciding who is famous or not, but even if there were, you have no way of doing it without hurting the feelings of others. This, quite frankly, is elitism. I suggest random pairings, because we are not doing this for some sort of celebrity meet-up type of thing, but for the fun of it.... therefore I propose a lottery system where two RANDOM people will get paired.

I don't think the way it is set up is elitism. I mean perhaps it could be set up where people are referred to as "experienced" and "novice" or something to that effect but honestly I haven't gotten really any collaborations yet, when are we going to get paired. And why not teams of 4?

The 'Famous' people have had special invites, which is how they know if they are famous. No duh. What I meant was, how do you decide who gets the invites though?
