Hi everyone. I have a weight problem. And no, the Atkins diet dosent work. Really though, i have a dropship that flies by having unstiff pisons attached to it and a piece of glass that runs along a track at the top of my level. My problem is that im trying to make it land by moving the pistons. Sackboys weight, if you run up and down inside the ship, afffects the ships movement so that it lands in a different place each time depending on where your standing, which is not what i want. well the movement weight of sackboy can't be taken out of equation without taking him out of the ship, But you could just have sackboy in a tine compartment, door domes down traps him in, that would elliminate movement. | 2009-11-14 13:10:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
There are two ways I can think of. First, if the rest of the ship is extremely heavy, the weight of the sackboy shouldn't matter as much. Second, if you make the pistons stiff, the sackboy can't affect the ship. But then you have to make the ship sway in a different, fixed manner. i cant make a small area because its where the spawn point for the start of the level is. If i make the checkpoint to small then sackboy wont spawn, but i need space for the checkpoint and then when you spawn you can move in the space where the checkpoint is, so i lose both ways. | 2009-11-15 20:49:00 Author: theamilien Posts: 485 |
