green screen color cropping tool
Archive: 12 posts
I use alot of sackboy characters in my levels. The process I use now: 1. Custume sackboy, 2. capture photo of posed sackboy, 3. slap photo sticker on material 4. trim the material so only the character is showing. What if there was a tool that you could use to delete certain colors? Take a picture in front of a one color screen. After placing sticker picture on material use the color cropping tool to delete the material that contains background color. Instant character cropping. Perhaps this can be used in conjunction with manny_wtk's The Green Screen. | 2009-11-12 18:45:00 Author: enodrawkcab ![]() Posts: 238 |
That's a great idea! I also use the same process and it's very time consuming. | 2009-11-12 19:29:00 Author: Rustbukkit ![]() Posts: 1737 |

No such a thing is not needed. Everything you want to do is doable without this tool. If you are innovative enough ! | 2009-11-15 19:30:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
It's not needed but it would be useful. I say combine it with a feature to modify a certain colour to be an alpha channel on your stickers as well - that really would be useful. | 2009-11-15 19:34:00 Author: rtm223 ![]() Posts: 6497 |

Love the idea! It would also help if the corner tool didn't have that glowing dot over the top of my material while I'm trying to do precision adjusting! | 2009-11-17 16:12:00 Author: CCubbage ![]() Posts: 4430 |
It would also help if the corner tool didn't have that glowing dot over the top of my material while I'm trying to do precision adjusting! OMG I hate this. It's the most precise and elegent tool in the popit, but they just had to make it ever so slightly cumbersome ![]() | 2009-11-17 16:23:00 Author: rtm223 ![]() Posts: 6497 |

I can see how this would be a totally useful tool! However, I agree with CCubbage. I also wish the corner tool didn't have the annoying glow covering up what I'm working on. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=5689&dateline=1259179457 | 2009-11-27 14:49:00 Author: Aselrahc ![]() Posts: 185 |
