We have recieved your interest in the PlayStation? 3 Battlefield Bad Company? 2 Beta.

This does not guarantee you beta access. If you are selected for the beta you will recieve an email with your beta key.

To guarantee access to the beta you need to reserve your copy of Battlefield Bad Company? 2 with participating retailers.

So if you are really desperate apply then pre-order!

The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer beta will feature the Arica Harbour map, where up to 24 players can compete. This new map displays a superb balance of vehicle and infantry combat, as the American assault unit attacks the Russian army base with full force, advancing further through a beautiful desert town and towards the industrial area in a desperate attempt to overtake the Arica Harbour. Heavy vehicle warfare on the first bases gradually turns into an intense infantry fight as the level progresses, showcasing this best-in-class online warfare experience.

Cool! Did you pre-order the game to get the code or were you just lucky?

Friend got it from gamestop.com, he had a spare so he gave it to me.

As for my thoughts on the game?

It's really fun. It's almost like the first one with better graphics, and has a rated M style if you know what I mean. Alot more cussing, and alot more blood. As for the beta itself, I got bored quickly. Seeing as how you play the same map over and over again with the same weapons. Just a little more variety in the beta would suffice but you don't ever unlock anything.

But yeah, the game is definitely a fun one. I don't know if this has been changed but if you shoot the enemy they don't get "spotted" like they did in the first one, good or bad? I find it to be a little better seeing as how as soon as you were shot in the first one everyone would jump on you. That or it just doesn't put a red marker on them anymore.
