LBP Cross-Talk

Archive: 63 posts

I just got an email from Sony that gave out some big information that I don't think has been discussed yet. If you check out the link here (http://playstation.innovyx.net/v?xlqlHvnEHWcTvTcWTqPJ) and scroll to where it says "One Little Planet, Two Big Worlds", the paragraph underneath says

"And ... if you own both the PSP system and Playstation 3 versions, unlock bonus content with LBP CROSS-TALK."

I assume that this only unlocks content in the PSP version, but it is pretty neat regardless!

How do you guys think this will work?

What they actually said was that it would not unlock anything on the PS3 version.

When originally stated, they said it would unlock 'exclusive' content.

They didn't say what that content would be, but it certainly excludes what you stated.

Has anyone actually tried that feature yet... I would certainly be trying that feature out first I had my hands on the game.

Sorry, I don't understand your entire post, but I think you're asking about unlocking content via cross-talk and also the existance of a photo tool. As far as we know so far, neither exist in the game. However, I find these images of yours VERY interesting:

I don't have the game yet so I can't confirm if these are legit, but it looks like a snapshot tool and a PSP Go camera tool are in the game! ARD / gevurah22, can either of you comment?

Well, I suppose I didn't really answer your question in the first place. LOL Sorry about that.

I'm not sure where anime3d got them. I don't understand all of the translation, and I speak zero French unfortunately.

I believe that the PlayStation Eye tools were found in an early level.

I still remain skeptical as countless people and reviews have said otherwise to the tools existence.

DUN DUN DUN!!!! Where's Sherlock Holmes when we need him? Out of all the years he's been inactive, he just happens to choose 2009 to make his comeback movie debut. XD

They certainly look official, maybe if we can see the original source, it could help us determine this strange documents' origins.

Okay, since ricky revived the thread (for some odd reason), I decided "What the heck, I'll be the big spoiler.". So, to those of you who don't know (and I'm too lazy to read all the comments to check), here's the story.

*Uh hum.*

These were originally going to be included in the game, but Cambridge decided to take them out. They got kind of lazy and left the videos in there. That message was probably a fault. AND, if Cambridge does ever decide to bring back these things, I'm pretty sure they'll announce it to more than one person via e-mail. Yeah...

Peace

For the second one, It means this: when you are playing a level and you already read a speach bubble, then you go back to it and the only way to read it again is to press the triangle button. that is what it means.

For the first one, they lied to us.

So this cross talk is kinda like Resistance Retribution's infected mode where you unlock a new skin, get health regeneration and play with the PS3 controller on your tv. I hope it gives you all of the PSP content so that the LBP universe can grow even more.2010-07-29 09:27:00

Theoretically, because it DOES NOT EXIST. There is NO LBP cross-talk.
