| I know this isn't anything as good as what you can do, but I haven't seen any level with this simple, but realistic water physics. So I decided to share my idea. I made a tech demo level, just search "@samuli95", and find the "Water Tech Demo" located at the north pole. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1267706/howto.jpg Part 1: Create your object, create smaller "collision body" from glass. Attach the glass to your object with rubber bands. Part 2: Move the glass part to the back (this can be tricky, I just loosen all the rubber bands and move it back. | That's an interesting method of connect the rubber bands to the layer behind, but I'm not certain what exactly is that you are doing. What is the goal? Is it used for water "vehicles" to simulate choppiness of the water? | 2009-11-12 14:37:00 Author: comphermc  Posts: 5338 |
| The goal is to make water physics, like when you drop something to water, it reacts correctly. And I don't know what the red striped objects are, I just thought that plain sponges look a bit boring... BTW. I made another tech demo, that shows how it's made and you can throw objects around.
