Sack Costumes Artworks

After seeing a thread where Syroc made some nice costumes drawings, I thought why not trying doing some too! I'm not bad with Photoshop, so it was really helpfull for this I used real pictures found on the web for most of clothes parts and objects. I also use some real MM costumes parts (using high size images on MM flickr gallery) After that, it's all about photomontage : cutting, pasting, outlining, distorting, coloring, etc.... Some took me more time than I thought, but here's what I managed to do : Last update : Star Trek (proposed by Zwollie) Captain Kirk / Spock / Dr "Bones" McCoy http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/438/221_3.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/464/411_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/436/762_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/436/761_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/435/013_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/434/168_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/434/169_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/432/932_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/430/362_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/430/361_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/427/640_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/427/082_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/428/799_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/426/625_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/425/812_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/425/810_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/425/811_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/425/808_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/425/823_2.jpg I really enjoyed making them so I hope you like them! | 2009-11-10 23:12:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Awesome work mate. Keep 'em coming. I'd love to see you do one of my 'Sheriff Sack'. Here's my in-game one: http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss273/specialagent_01/LBP%20Costumes/AngrySheriffSack.jpg How about a 'Robin Hood' one too. I have an in-game one of that too but I'm sure you can make a much better one than this: http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss273/specialagent_01/LBP%20Costumes/RobinHood.jpg | 2009-11-10 23:17:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |

awsome 10 charachers | 2009-11-11 20:58:00 Author: Unknown User |
Those look amazing. I randomly clicked on this thread and when i saw all the pictures i thought they were official and they were actually coming to the store!!! I wish we could get them in LBP they look sooooo AWESOME! | 2009-11-11 21:03:00 Author: Snrm Posts: 6419 |
Thanks very much guys! Any chance of a *cough* Slash or Axl Rose *cough* costume? I would love you for ever! Even donate some xp maybe. As for Mistervista's Sheriff sack, I can try too no need XP donation for that. But what would be even more interesting, it's if you have some ideas for completely new costumes, with new elements (hat, cloth, objects) and that can not be done with the actual MM costumes for example... Those look amazing. I randomly clicked on this thread and when i saw all the pictures i thought they were official and they were actually coming to the store!!! lol Thanks and sorry for the false hope As I used some real pictures to do them, it's true that they look more real than if I have had just drawn them.. | 2009-11-11 21:54:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Wow man, you are great with photoshop - these are amazing Keep on making these, they look so real (oh and the backgrounds really add to them...makes them seem more official) | 2009-11-11 22:25:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
I love the costumes, how talented you are. For some reason I am strangely drawn to the Icy one! Icey | 2009-11-11 22:37:00 Author: IceMaiden Posts: 1057 |

Hey dajdaj03, you should really enter this (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=p=330439#post330439). You'd have a massive chance of winning! | 2009-11-12 16:20:00 Author: Leather-Monkey Posts: 2266 |

Thanks very much for proposing! Too bad I'm not a UK resident... I left a message on your thread Oh yea -.- How could I forget that!?! You've even got the Eiffel Tower in your sig. | 2009-11-13 13:06:00 Author: Leather-Monkey Posts: 2266 |
What fantastic costume pictures, dajdaj. They're so beautifully detailed and the backgrounds are great too - they set the whole thing off nicely. Very talented indeed. How about a 19th century explorer Sack with a solar topee...or Napoleon...or Sherlock Holmes? | 2009-11-13 14:12:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |
Thanks guys! How about a 19th century explorer Sack with a solar topee...or Napoleon...or Sherlock Holmes? if you can make the modern warfare or U.S soldier sacknoy of my dreams Nice ideas! (I thought of Napoleon too) I'll see what I can do, if I have time and if it's not too complicated to make! I gave up some of my previous ideas because it didn't work or I didn't find the right clothe/hat pictures on internet.... So don't get mad at me if I don't make those... I finished a new one yesterday, will post it later when I'm back home! | 2009-11-13 17:55:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
How about a Mountie (RCMP) Sack? Those costumes are adorable | 2009-11-13 18:18:00 Author: bonner123 Posts: 1487 |
Very nice! All those sacks are top-notch LOL! Maybe you can make a sack with extremely fancy pants? | 2009-11-13 18:34:00 Author: iGotFancyPants Posts: 1355 |
Just to let you know I added a couple of pictures to my original post to give you some ideas. | 2009-11-13 18:43:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
Here's the last one I finished : The aviator costume! http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/426/625_2.jpg Hope you like it  Thanks for the others ideas. mistervista, the robin hood costume is a good one! Hum...I think I prefer do this one rather than the Sherif costume, as there is already a real cowboy costume in the game... | 2009-11-13 21:01:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
These are awesome, great work | 2009-11-13 21:56:00 Author: springs86 Posts: 785 |
Here's the last one I finished : The aviator costume! Wow, he's gorgeous. My favourite so far I think, though I really like the Inuit one too. Love the grime on his face - nice touch! | 2009-11-13 22:08:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |
These are actually awesome Brilliant work, sir. | 2009-11-14 12:12:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Awesome!!!! | 2009-11-14 14:03:00 Author: chimpskylark Posts: 335 |
You're still making my costume hopefully right? How fun would it be to make a sack with an M-16 http://ruvr.ru/files/Image/US_Canada/USA/IRAQ-ISSUE/US_soldiers.jpg | 2009-11-14 17:45:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
As I said, I'll see if it's not to hard to make... Some accessories or objects are difficult to place in the sackboy hand if I don't find the right picture, so I'm not very sure about the M-16 (if it's the most important part of the costume for you)... For now, I started the robin hood costume proposed by mistervista, so I let you know... Thanks | 2009-11-14 18:49:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

2 new costumes : Robin Hood costume (proposed by mistervista) Army soldier costume (proposed by Incinerator22) http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/427/082_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/427/080_2.jpg Hope you'll like them:eek: | 2009-11-15 21:17:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Submit these to Mm!!! They'll love this!! (And, quite possibly, may earn you a crown. ) | 2009-11-15 23:58:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
m16 isn't all that necessary, and if it hlps they have lots of action figure guns or toy guns in pictures you can find online. Other possibilities: SAW AA-12 M60 | 2009-11-16 00:17:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
m16 isn't all that necessary, and if it hlps they have lots of action figure guns or toy guns in pictures you can find online. Other possibilities: SAW AA-12 M60 It's iconic, though. | 2009-11-16 00:42:00 Author: TheMarvelousHat Posts: 542 |
Submit these to Mm!!! They'll love this!! (And, quite possibly, may earn you a crown. ) Haha Thanks! Sure a crown would be cool... but this has nothing to do with helping the community or things like that so... m16 isn't all that necessary, and if it hlps they have lots of action figure guns or toy guns in pictures you can find online. Other possibilities: SAW AA-12 M60 Oh so you don't like it that way....? You're being a little too specific for me here It's just a general theme costume : an army soldier, holding a little weapon (here I made a M16, but no matter what kind...) I'm not an army expert, so I just tried to do it the best way I could... | 2009-11-16 01:09:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Haha Thanks! Sure a crown would be cool... but this has nothing to do with helping the community or things like that so... Why on the contrary! Take a look at xkappax. She got one by making a "parody" of getting one ! If anything, this could really WOW some of the molecules at Mm. | 2009-11-17 06:16:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
Here's one requested by Leather-monkey http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/427/640_2.jpg He looks a little different from the others, as the hair are not truly "sackboy style", but that's the best I manage to do... (I really had a hard time with those hair) I took that Slash picture as example : http://www.clynemedia.com/marshall/VintageModern_Artists/Slash.jpg Hope you find it good enough Leather-monkey  | 2009-11-18 00:30:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

It's amazing! I just sorta dislike the helmet... Could you take off the the goggles? Also could you make the cammo a bit oranger like this? http://www.clearlake.co.uk/feltons/images/products/493.jpg Also, if you want to, could you add a bandolier (ammo chain around his body) and maybe an army knife on his side? http://www.bergall.org/320/dowling/dowling-13a.jpg I'd appreciate it. Definitely not trying to sound bossy though, you are awesome! Edit some more, nah, I don't need a bandolier or knife. I just really dislike the main body . It's much too much like the mm one, nothing that's really new at all | 2009-11-18 02:20:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Submit these to Mm!!! They'll love this!! (And, quite possibly, may earn you a crown. ) I agree with Outlaw Jack. You should definitely send these to Mm. Even if you don't get a Crown, I'm sure Mm would love to see them! Who knows, it may even give them some ideas for future DLC. | 2009-11-18 09:54:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |

It's much too much like the mm one, nothing that's really new at all Ok so you dislike the helmet and the main body.... so everything For me it look good like this, but I can try to make you a quick second version. Though I don't exactly know what you have in mind and how you picture it... Anyway I'll try to make a version without the goggles, with the cammo a little more orange, and try to find another way to make the body clothes... and we'll see how it will be like | 2009-11-18 13:50:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Thank you very much! Maybe I'm mostly cranky becuase you pretty much only used pre-made mm stuff. Hmmm... I'll get you an example photo to copy off of. | 2009-11-19 02:03:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Thank you very much! Maybe I'm mostly cranky becuase you pretty much only used pre-made mm stuff. Hmmm... I'll get you an example photo to copy off of. Yes true that I kept the MM MGS soldier body (I just change the color and the shoes) because it was fitting well for me and because it was easier too... I wait for your example! Dajdaj, have I told you that I love you yet? Seriously though, the new ones are awesome and it is a very nice touch to use the history pack shield (or is it a wheel) on the Robin Hood costume. | 2009-11-20 12:56:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
The Inuit one is my favourite. Can you remake the drawing I made weeks ago? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3473/3998919050_c831e873dd_o.jpg | 2009-11-20 13:03:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
@Zwollie Haha Thanks! Yes the more real MM element I can use, the better it is... @Syroc Thanks Syroc! I started this because of your drawings that I found very nice, and then I thought why not trying to do the same by using real pictures (for a more realistic result) I'll remake this drawing with pleasure, as it's a very good costume idea! (at least I'll try to... hope it's not too difficult) | 2009-11-20 13:26:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Oh sorry I prefer keep them as they are, just costume artworks, and not spread them all around for other uses. Hope you understand... Thanks again! Oh thats fine, I understand thanks for considering though, and once again great work. | 2009-11-20 13:32:00 Author: Mod5.0 Posts: 1576 |

Aaaahhhhhhhh!!! This is the happiest day of my life!!! Thanks you so much!!! I know you said there's no need to donate xp or whatever, but I really wanted to, so enjoy. Haha Thanks! I'm glad you're happy about it! Thanks very much for the XP, it was really no needed... though I can buy me the Premium Bundle now | 2009-11-20 17:10:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Ok Incinerator22, here's the second version : http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/428/798_2.jpg -I dislike the goggles but the rest of the helmet is awesome. (Besides the color of the cammo.) I remove the goggles, and I also find a new helmet, that suits more the style you want I think, because the other one just doesn't work well without the goggles. -I want, as I said, a full suit, with pants and a shirt. Done, even if it was a little difficult... I added like a sort of vest so that it looks less flat... -If you can, please try to add some cute army bootsies lol. Done, hope you like them , that's the best I can do -You can add accesories like grenades or a knife, but I don't want you to overdo it. I tried but it looked too messy and complicated, so prefer nothing beside the M-16. -Kneepads are preffered. Done, even if the sackboy is so small proportionned that the kneepads just take all over the legs So I think I've done all that you asked for, and in the best way I can, so I hope you like it this way! Here's another version that I prefer : with the goggles! I don't know, I just feel it adds something cool. I also remove the kneepads on this one http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/428/799_2.jpg | 2009-11-21 16:40:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Screw the premium bundle! 100 xp coming your way, not to mention all the times I thanked you You can start a business off of this Thinking about it, kneepads don't work well with sackboy's legs to me because they're so short lol. The goggles are good, I just dislike the color. Anyway, you rule! I guess I prefer version two Mind updating the first post to include it? | 2009-11-21 17:21:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Thanks! It's cool if you like it this way! ok for 2nd version It's the orange color that you don't like about the goggles? I know it's not very realistic, but as it's about LBP, I just wanted to add some bright color (all black, it's a little sad ) Here's a trial just for you (but I'm gonna keep the orange one ) http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/428/812_2.jpg Thanks for the XP, you didn't have to... I'm still missing like 850 pts for the utlimate Bundle, but don't worry the prenium bundle is really enough for me | 2009-11-21 17:53:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
No problem. You definitely deserve it Version Three is perfect!!! Trust me, the Ultimate Bundle is way cooler. I can force, I mean ask mistervista to give you some more xp lol. Patience will definitely make it worth it | 2009-11-21 21:01:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |

LOL I just saw Incinerators post. Sorry I'm a bit late to the party but congrats on getting the bundle and the great work you're doing. The Robin Hood one is great as they all are. | 2009-11-22 01:07:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
I'm back to this Here are the latest I made : http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/430/361_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/430/362_2.jpg Oldschool diving suit (on Syroc idea) This one was hard to make, the helmet was really annoying to find and to adapt. Police officer Simple but cool I think Hope you like them | 2009-11-28 13:57:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

I'm still waiting for some extremely tight pants... lol... I don't know if I can do this... | 2009-11-28 16:46:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
The awesomeness continues! Love both of the new designs. The helmet may have been hard to pull off but the end result is great. I so hope we get some DLC like that when water comes out. I'd love a retro diving costume just like yours. The policeman is pretty cool too. I like the detail of the belt with the handcuffs and baton. Have you sent any of them to Mm yet? Just curious.... | 2009-11-29 00:00:00 Author: shropshirelass Posts: 1455 |
Those are excellent! Really top notch stuff - seriously send this to MM they'll love 'em and we may just get some DLC out of this! As for suggestions... hm... a Knight might be cool. Like silver suit of armor and shield and sword. Let's see, one for the girls.... um.... how about like a sorceress kind of thing. (not that I'm not partial to magic types of women. ) | 2009-11-29 00:23:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Thanks Ladies! Have you sent any of them to Mm yet? Just curious.... No...... not yet I've got 2 other costumes coming, and I'll see what I'll do after that. As for suggestions... a Knight might be cool. Like silver suit of armor and shield and sword. Let's see, one for the girls.... um.... how about like a sorceress kind of thing. (not that I'm not partial to magic types of women. ) Thanks! a knight yes, maybe soon ! I already searched for some armor pictures... Sorry, I know girls are not very represented here  but I have some ideas! A sorceress may be cool! | 2009-11-29 00:48:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
(not that I'm not partial to magic types of women. ) I agree with all that but I'm also surprised that I haven't seen ( or heard the ladies requesting ) more costume DLC aimed towards the female sackperson e.g. High heels, handbags, etc. so maybe if dajdaj can do a few examples like that and send them in to Mm as suggested the ladies may be catered for in the not too distant future. | 2009-11-29 01:07:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
I agree Mistervista, MM should make more DLC girl costumes I'm not MM but I'll try to do some, even if long hair are not the easiest to make! I have some ideas though as i said : Witch costume Nurse costume Marie Antoinette costume Cat woman costume Cheerleader costume Hawaiian costume .... By the way, your sheriff costume is coming real soon... | 2009-11-29 01:38:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
Thanks for making the diver, dajdaj. As for suggestions... hm... a Knight might be cool. Like silver suit of armor and shield and sword. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2645/3959792664_08c7131a0e.jpg | 2009-11-29 13:37:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
HOLY JEBUS That scuba diver is awesome! You'd better e-mail all of these to Mm right now so they can make them. | 2009-11-30 00:53:00 Author: Sack-Jake Posts: 1153 |
Wow, this thread totally passed me by. Brilliant work man! These look even better than the MM renders! | 2009-11-30 13:20:00 Author: wexfordian Posts: 1904 |
Aww, those costumes are lovely You really should do some tutorials on them, I would love to be able to design such authentic costumes. | 2009-11-30 16:13:00 Author: TehUberZac Posts: 587 |
The diver suit is the only one with your name in the middle instead of the corner Anyway, the police man is my second favorite so far A knight would be cool, but in my opinion there are cooler things and the Roman costume is too similar. | 2009-12-02 22:56:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Anyway, the police man is my second favorite so far Thanks. Seems you like everything about uniforms A knight would be cool, but in my opinion there are cooler things and the Roman costume is too similar. For the knight, I see something more like this, which is not too similar with the roman costume http://www.gepetovillage.com/Media/Photo/139245.jpg But a good picture of that kind of helmet is hard to find | 2009-12-03 14:19:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
How about these two helmets? http://blog.jalbum.net/blog/jalbum/resource/tips/knight-helmet.jpg http://www.dkimages.com/discover/Projects/QUEEN/previews/11812012.JPG | 2009-12-04 08:19:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Thanks Syroc! The first one is really good! I can try with this one Too bad the picture is not bigger, because I need big pictures to be able to work it as i want : make it bigger, distort it without loosing definition/resolution quality... | 2009-12-04 14:24:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

I'd love to see some more real people. Slash is probably my fav, followed by the Army Sack. Some suggestions would be Obama, Lady GaGa, and stuff of their calibre. Some video game characters would be cool also, like Nathan Drake, in honor of Uncharted 2. These are just suggestions, not demands. =) | 2009-12-06 20:31:00 Author: srgt_poptart Posts: 425 |

I second all of that! I thought of a great costume you could make, Ozzy Osbourne! Do it. :kz: If he did that you would have not only Ozzy, but one that looked like Emporer Palpatine. LOL!! Have to explain.. a buddy once gave me a General Palpatine mug. One of those that has the face molded into the mug. Well.. being that I never can resist being a smart***, I am I opened it up and said.. "OZZY!!! TOO COOL!! ALLL ABOAAAAAARD HA HAH AHAHA HA" Oh well.. it was pretty funny at the time! LOL! | 2009-12-07 16:26:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
lol, ozzy is too similar to slash. do someone like lady gaga or someone as easily recognisable. | 2009-12-07 17:06:00 Author: TehUberZac Posts: 587 |
Some more famous real people costume? Sure it would be cool, but the person must be very recognisable and must have a "strong visual identity" Honestly, I prefer more general costumes but I'll see some day if I have time and inspiration I'll pass on Lady Gaga though  sorry lol Thanks for the suggestions! By the way, I'm working on a costume based on a well-known movie character, hope you'll like it! | 2009-12-07 19:04:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
the person must be very recognisable and must have a "strong visual identity" Indiana Jones, srsly, do it. Unless that's the one you're making. If it is, holy crap I'm awesome. If it's not, holy crap you gotta make it. | 2009-12-07 20:39:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Sorry Ard, it is not Indiana Jones but it could be interesting, I'll see... It's not as known as Indiana Jones, but I think it will be cool (to be precise it's toy/cartoon/movie character... ) Anyway, here's one I just finished : Sheriff costume proposed by mistervista http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/432/932_2.jpg Hope you'll like the way I choose to do it mistervista... | 2009-12-08 00:20:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Looks great daj, but I don't like the mustache texture very much... Thanks I guess you're talking about the "glossy" texture... not the best it's true, but I thought it was looking ok I'll see if I can change it in another way | 2009-12-08 14:13:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Thanks everybody! Yes, i'll take your advices, I'm gonna send these to MM, but I really don't expect something out of this...it's just for fun Yeah you really should show these to Mm but why not build up your collection so they are really blown away? Here are the last two I made : http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/436/761_2.jpg http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/436/762_2.jpg Cleopatra I know...not very original as there's already egyptian stuff in LBP, but I thought it look nice and it was not hard to make! Knight One I wanted to make long ago, also proposed by Morgana This one was hard!! Really not the best, but I tried to make it the more clean possible... I think those will be the last ones for now... I'm going to take a break from this , as I must go back working seriously on my next little level (hope I will finish it before the release of POTC pack next week :eek, and after that, I'll focus on water experiments..! I'll make an exception for Zwollie when he comes up with a idea though! Thanks again very much everybody, for all the nice comments and ideas! | 2009-12-17 02:12:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Hey dajdaj, You blow me away once again...I remember someone saying about how you incorporate the background with the costume. I agree the backgrounds are just as beautiful as the costumes...and the text...whew...that's the cherry on top a banana split smothered in caramel goodness! Good job! Thanks everyone Just to let you know, on your advices, I send an email to MM yesterday night to show them the pictures. I get an automatic reply saying : We try and read all our emails and respond to as many as we can, but as we get so many every day, it's quite hard to reply to everything, We hope you understand. So it's not even sure that my email will be noticed among thousands of others Anyway I let you know if I have some kind of anwser...or not. @jeffcu28 and shropshirelass Thanks but please don't expect too much of my next level, it's gonna be very simple and short I'm afraid... | 2009-12-18 18:44:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
I have been watching this thread, and those are some very nice costumes pics you have made. So it's not even sure that my email will be noticed among thousands of others Making a post on Mm's website (http://mediamolecule.com/) seems to get their attention, they have to check what you posted, and any links you provide. So they will most likely see what you've made if you do it that way. | 2009-12-18 18:50:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Hmmm...is it too late to put in my request? I was gonna ask you to do the entire crew of the original Star Trek but that might have drove you insane so how about just Spock? | 2009-12-18 18:54:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Zwollie no problem, remember it's my way to thank you for the bundle So Startrek? Spock? It's cool, and I don't think it's gonna be very hard to make The entire crew may be too much lol, but I can make like 2 or 3 as they have the same clothes (but different top colors) Spock and Captain Kirk? is it good for you? http://s11.bdbphotos.com/images/orig/a/0/a0f5rc0xgpos0cgf.jpg | 2009-12-18 19:14:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Do you take requests for these? No sorry, it's not like an offical request thread.... People gave me some ideas, and if it was possible and interesting, I made them... To go along with Star Trek, Star Wars characters would be awsome. Like Darth Vader, Yoda!!!!, and Leia, Chewy, Han Solo, or hundreds of others. Oh, the possiblities! Yeah sure there's hundreds of possibilities, but I have a real life too and not a lot of time Anyway, as I said I'm taking a break after the one I'm making for Zwollie... I almost finish it, will post it later! | 2009-12-19 22:52:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

he reaper is the first custom costume I ever had in lbp. It''s like the temples hood and cloack were made for the reaper, lol. I'd disagree with that suggestion. | 2009-12-20 04:25:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Here's the Star Trek one for Mr Zwollie (this is a special one) Captain Kirk / Spock / Dr. "Bones" McCoy http://images.gamekult.com/blog/imgdb/000/000/438/221_3.jpg The clothes are quite simple, so they were not really hard to make. I had more problems with the hair, especially for Kirk and Bones... I also added eyebrows to make each one a little different and hopefully more recognizable. I tried my best to make them look good, even if it's not perfect... Hope you'll like it Zwollie  | 2009-12-20 05:11:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

WOW!! Those are awesome beyond belief!! Thanks so much!! The eyebrows are a must as they truly define the characters, especially on bones and Spock. Thanks Mod5.0 I didn't know this character... Is it from a game? Which one? I don't know if I can do it, I must search for other usable pictures first... It's from Borderlands. | 2009-12-22 11:47:00 Author: SPONGMONKEY56 Posts: 209 |
Thanks again guys You should make a Grim Reaper. Seriously, that would be totally chez. How about you try making the hulk. I always thought the gorilla bodypart with the green sticker funny in lbp. Sure there a lot of costumes ideas, but I'm taking a break for now I must focus myself on level creation and on the water pack | 2009-12-22 14:35:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

These are amazing well done, could you perhaps do one of of a TF2 Scout just google it. I can'e beleive how good these are welldone. You should make a tutorial on these so i can have a go at it. | 2010-03-01 14:09:00 Author: lbpholic Posts: 1304 |
Would you consider making something like this? (An 'alien'/'xenomorph&apos? Why do you want to transform a cute little sackboy in an ugly monster...? I'm not really sure about it... I think it would be a little difficult to make.... sorry.... Apart from that, I'm a little angry.... I was searching on Google when I fell on a french LBP forum that used 2 of my pictures : http://www.littlebigplanet-france.net/forum.htm I know that it is the risk when you share pictures on the web, as people just take without asking, but it's a little annoying. They used the first version of those pictures that I posted long ago in the gallery section of the old version of LBPC I'm not going to make a big deal out of this, but if only they have done something nice with it... but right now, I think it's pretty... "ugly"! I suscribed to the site, and send a message to an administrator... I'm waiting for an answer... anyway... That's it. It was just my little complaint moment | 2010-03-02 01:00:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |

Don't worry, I'd be furious too. Maybe since they saw it with MM they though it was lbp fan property... Hum... I don't think so, because they used a very old version, before I even started this thread or sent them to MM... (I changed the background of the cook sackboy afterward...) The only place they could have found them, it was in the old gallery section of LBPC.... Anyway.... nevermind.... He's beautiful. havent been able to read through all the pages so forgive me if this has been asked before but.....do you take requests? EDIT: a solution for your theft issue with the french....make a huge transparent watermark with your name....like how you have it now but instead of in the corner you put it OVER the pic and make it transparent...it may be a bit ugly but it gives people a visual of ur art...and if you trust the person you can always send the requester the original without the transparent watermark | 2010-04-25 08:52:00 Author: Shadowcrazy Posts: 3365 |

The point is to look at the drawings. | 2010-05-07 11:00:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
The point is to look at the drawings. that's why this site gave us the ability to create albums...so we could upload photos...in which users would view and make comments on there...it's a wasted feature if you make a thread for the pictures instead of putting them in an album | 2010-05-07 16:27:00 Author: Shadowcrazy Posts: 3365 |
Shadow I think you take stuff too personally. Which do you think is going to get more views? A thread or an album tucked away in your profile? I think these pictures are genuinely astounding, the detail and style is perfect. Putting them in a dedicated thread is exactly where they should be so as many people can see and appreciate them as possible. Albums are not a wasted feature as they can be perfect for putting images that don't fit anywhere else and making a thread for those would be fairly pointless. Bearing in mind we are also in the artwork and creativity forum so I think if anywhere this IS the place for this kind of thing! It's a lighthearted place to appreciate some art can we all just share some love!? The point is these pictures are absolutely friggin' fantastic! So I think they should remain here for as long as this game and it's fans exist. | 2010-05-07 17:02:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks very much OneEyedBanshee! First I want to say that this thread never was a REQUESTS thread. I started making these pictures because it was fun, and decided to share them with people here. I asked if people have some others costume ideas, and if I liked the idea and if it was easy to make, I worked on it. I just made 3 or 4 very specific costumes, requested by members, because it was interesting. But all the others were choices I made. Anyway, as OneEyedBanshee said, this thread in the Artwork and Creativity section, like other threads where members share signatures, photographies, drawings, etc...requested or NOT | 2010-05-07 18:29:00 Author: dajdaj03 Posts: 1486 |
