The gosh darn level acts like I stole his girlfriend in highschool. It needs to get over it!1!!1! Anyways, the problem. Everytime I try to ace it, I just slip up a little bit. And that little bit kills me ! It is easy, but its just messing up a little could cause you to throw your controller at the wall. Any other levels that are easy for you, but you just screw them up when you try to ace them?

oh, good lord. the mines. i aced the bunker before i even came close to acing the mines. my tip is this. be lucky, and time things perfectly.

my tip is this. be lucky, and time things perfectly. Haha, genius! It's all so simple. In order to ace The Mines, you pretty have to play it over and over until you get it. It seems like stupid advice, but once you get into a groove, it all becomes so easy. When I aced The Mines, I was on a streak and was able to immediately ace The Bunker and The Collector's Lair. That's not bragging either - I don't normally have the skills, but after playing a few hours, I was in such an LBP groove that it didn't seem like much of a challenge anymore. Also, take your time! There is no time limit for acing a level.

i made it to the wheel then died there on the bunker however i have aced the collector level lol and all the mgs levels and aced and defeated rex from mgs in under 2.30 lol which got me 2 tropyhs i now have all mgs trophys lol just keep at it

GRAMMAR FAIL! When a plural is stated, there is ARE at the end. "The Mines is not my friend" "The Mines ARE not my friend." But on topic, It wasn't that hard. Some people are just naturally good at things, like you may be better then someone at a certain game when you just started.

The only level I managed to ace in the Canyons is Boom Town and that was because I was lucky. The mines I usually end up brushing one of the flaming floors in the boulder run then bounced off the next one or the ball it's sooo annoying because its right at the end of the level. And I just finished acing serpent shrine when Zapata blows up and spits a bit of fire at me.

Well, The Mines is more of a compound level name that could technically be treated as a singular noun... Anyway, you can never rush an ace. You can't expect to ace a level if you've only had lbp for a month or so.

I've aced all the gardens, savannah, wedding, boom town, metropolis, first two levels in endurance dojo, temples, and The Frozen Tundra and The Collector's Lair. Yea, not all of em, but still alot.

Just incase you don't know already, the level where you fight Zapata twice at the end with the bombs he throws at you, can actually be aced even if you die ( don't ask how, it's crazy I know ) unless it's been fixed. I played it a couple of months ago and got killed with the explosives once during that fight but because it was such a long level and near the end I carried on anyway and when I reached the scoreboard it registered as ACED !! The moral of the story ? Even if you die don't quit the level. Finish it anyway and see what happens.

He got a PS3 and LBP (thanks to yours truly) and we were playing from...I dunno, 6pm til 4am? Anyway, we were playing Serpent Shrine, down to the last life, I was the only one left. I just killed him, when, lo and behold, a chunk of something fiery lands on me. >_>

That exact same thing happened when I was trying to ace the level. After hours of frustration I had finally beaten him without dieing,and then there was a SMALL LITTLE INVISIBLE PIECE OF FIRE ON THE FLOOR! That level is mean.

The Mines make me scream, i ALWAYS get trapped underneath the mine cart and then i get pushed onto the edge and i fall into the fire pit. I aced The Collector very easily, no idea why though.

Arrrrgh, I HATE the mines. It's as bad as Boomtown. I don't know how, but I got the Play trophy eventually. I did it many times in a row And got it, but it took about two hours. And as for ARD and the Serpent Shrine, I have, too, been killed by Zapata's debris. I've also jumped in the wrong zone in the Sensei's Lost Castle and got zapped by her brushcloud at the end of the level. Needless to say I was mad.

Ah, the mines... Brings back memories.... memories of pain, suffering, and the tendency to throw my controller at the tv when i died at the last firepit before the end of the level. I'm just happy I finally got my 'Play' trophy

I have the Play trophy, so I've aced all levels, but I remember the mines being hard. My advice is, forget the score bubbles and prize bubbles. If you haven't already got collected all objects, then do it in a seperate run to acing it. And strangely I also managed the Bunker's wheel first try.
