Questions About LBP PSP
Archive: 37 posts
I have some questions about LBP PSP: will it be Multi5? Because i want to buy it from England, i save half price Then, another question... Will it have the Paintinator? I don't think, because it is an exclusive of MGS Pack... Thanks for the answers | 2009-11-10 18:29:00 Author: Dante95 Posts: 504 |
I can't say about Multi5, but I can say that it's very unlikely that we will get the paintinator in LBP PSP. Since the PSP only has one analog stick, I don't think there is a good way to make a paintinator work. | 2009-11-10 18:38:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
Well, I have no clue what Mutli5 is, but I can tell you that I highly doubt it will include the paintinator. As Gilgamesh said, the PSP only has one analog stick. If it had two, it probably would have eventually been put in there. | 2009-11-11 00:42:00 Author: Sackwise Posts: 305 |
Ever played Metroid? They could have a system like that where a few button combos willl get your paintinator where you want it to be. | 2009-11-11 03:09:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |

when people are saying that there is no multi Player, does that mean that you can't even play with some person sitting next to you? or is it just no multiplayer online? | 2009-11-12 00:37:00 Author: chesteranium Posts: 15 |
No multiplayer, online or adhoc. It's something about processing power. In short, the PSP can't handle physics simulation at the same time as it's handling a multiplayer connection. That's what I gathered from this article anyway : http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/no-multiplayer-in-littlebigplanet-psp | 2009-11-12 00:47:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
awww, that sucs. i hope that they can do something about that later though, playing lbp on the psp with other people would be lots of fun | 2009-11-12 00:52:00 Author: chesteranium Posts: 15 |

If it had two, it probably would have eventually been put in there. well maybe they will make a different type of paintinator(that's probably not goin to be called the paintinator) thaat has simpler handling, so it only needs one analog stick, and maybe a couple other buttons | 2009-11-12 01:01:00 Author: chesteranium Posts: 15 |
Super Stardust Portable is a "two stick" shooter for the PSP and it plays beautifully, so I'm sure they could work something out for LBP. Options off the top of my head are: -auto targeting -square/triangle/circle = aim (no aiming down) -square/triangle = adjust aim clockwise/counterclockwise (ok, anti-clockwise) -aiming toggle assigned to another button (e.g., hold down L to aim with analog stick) Any of those would work and wouldn't take much getting used to. | 2009-11-12 06:13:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
I read somewhere (don't remember where...sorry...) that there is the possibility that they'll patch in multiplayer at some point... | 2009-11-12 20:27:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
With Multi5 i mean the presence of the 5 european languages inside the UMD. I want to buy it from Egnalnd, and i want to know if i'll find italian language in UK UMD | 2009-11-13 20:28:00 Author: Dante95 Posts: 504 |
I know it had many different language options on the demo I played at Comic-Con (which was an American version), so I am pretty sure it will have those on the full version. | 2009-11-13 22:46:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |

I want to buy it from Egnalnd, and i want to know if i'll find italian language in UK UMD It has all those language choices every time you start up the game. Take it from me since I already have it. | 2009-11-14 03:54:00 Author: gevurah22 Posts: 1476 |
There's definitely more than 5 languages | 2009-11-14 16:18:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
I hope in future there's a flip, copy and snapshot tools(maybe if you press square while selecting an object as well as tweaking between dynamic/static you can select the copy or flip function. Snapshot sticker tool wouldn't be hard, Motorstorm PSP had it and it had all these zoom/rotate functions that LBPSP wouldn't need. | 2009-11-14 16:29:00 Author: Unknown User |
Yeah, there are tons of PSP games witha snapshot function. | 2009-11-14 16:35:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |
I haven't played with create too long but you do seem to be able to flip some objects. And yeah, snapshots would be easy enough to implement, I mean the feature is easily accessible anyway :S | 2009-11-14 16:42:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |

guess what!!!!!!!! lbp psp comes out 11/17/09! want proof? go to www.amazon.com and search for lbp psp and look!!! I'm guessing you're in America then because Amazon.co.uk still has the release date as 20/11/09. | 2009-11-15 10:53:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
And yeah, snapshots would be easy enough to implement, I mean the feature is easily accessible anyway :S I am more interested in custom stickers then the actual snapshots. | 2009-11-15 17:54:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |
I am more interested in custom stickers then the actual snapshots. people mean like the snapshot tool in LBP PS3(the one which turns your snapshots into stickers). | 2009-11-15 18:47:00 Author: Unknown User |
I am more interested in custom stickers then the actual snapshots.Same here. Image import would be my first choice, followed by an image editor. | 2009-11-15 19:23:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
Hey, uh... everyone. We may have blown the lid off of this thing. Check out this thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=18593) - looks like there could be both a snapshot tool and a PSP Go camera tool in the game afterall. Here's my post in reply to amine3d: Sorry, I don't understand your entire post, but I think you're asking about unlocking content via cross-talk and also the existance of a photo tool. As far as we know so far, neither exist in the game. However, I find these images of yours VERY interesting: http://nsa10.casimages.com/img/2009/11/16/091116105657380116.jpg http://nsa11.casimages.com/img/2009/11/16/091116105702483855.jpg http://nsa11.casimages.com/img/2009/11/16/091116105749680017.jpg http://nsa11.casimages.com/img/2009/11/16/091116105817384428.jpg http://nsa10.casimages.com/img/2009/11/16/091116105939792829.jpg http://nsa11.casimages.com/img/2009/11/16/09111611003219849.jpg I don't have the game yet so I can't confirm if these are legit, but it looks like a snapshot tool and a PSP Go camera tool are in the game! ARD / gevurah22, can either of you comment? | 2009-11-17 01:02:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |

Here's my post in reply to amine3d: They look legit, those are what the in-game narrated tutorials look like, but I have not seen any options for taking snapshots, if I had to guess maybe those are images suggesting it might be possible in an update? | 2009-11-19 10:33:00 Author: CloudStrife_ca Posts: 57 |
i have already finished off the story mode. The snapshots above Im sure are related to the pspgo. I dont have a pspgo so no pics for me. As to working in the creator mode, I still have alot to learn, have about 1/8th of a level finished up. The tools are the same but working with them is twice as tedious as the ps3 version. I'm sure everyone will enjoy it after they get their hands on a copy. Possibly the best cross over game i have played on the psp. | 2009-11-19 13:36:00 Author: EviLPaNda Posts: 51 |
The pics are nothing to do with PSPgo, it's the Go!Cam, which isn't compatible with PSPgo...unless there is a cable for it. If there is, I want it. | 2009-11-19 20:18:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Where can one get such a "Go!Cam"...I see no place for it on the gamestop website... | 2009-11-19 20:31:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |

Right...I was hoping to walk into a local store and pick it up with cash rather than use a credit card online and have it shipped to my house so that my mom and dad know I used a credit card for video games without their permission... Oh well...if functionality with the go cam is included in lbp at some point, they're bound to release it in the US... | 2009-11-19 20:35:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
I thought they had released it in the US :S | 2009-11-19 20:36:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Can't find it... | 2009-11-19 20:37:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |

Hah...my mom absolutely despises video games... Well, actually she's grown more "tolerant" of them, but still won't go near them. She also doesn't see the merit in HDTVs, so yes, my ps3 has been connected to an SDTV without internet for the entirety of its lifetime, save when I take it to a friend's house and get lbp updates/dlc... So yes, unfortunately they'll mind... But I'll get it when I can walk into a local store and get it...sucks though, I'm an adult, but still don't have control over my own spending... (in college, what can I do, they pay my tuition and food and...well, you get it...) | 2009-11-19 20:47:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
That gives me hope that the NA release will be today. | 2009-11-19 20:49:00 Author: Darth J464 Posts: 343 |
