Mm would do themselves a favor if...

...if they decided to add a Star Wars Costume Pack as DLC.

Think about it, they'd make a lot on it. Especially if they time it with the release of a PS3 Star Wars game. Costumes could include a stormtrooper, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Empress Leia. Truth be told, it'd sell great as long as long as they include a Lightsabre as an accessory (similar to the frying pan and magic wand). I'm not saying a paintinator-type enhancement, merely an accessory. If it where an enhancement, they'd need to make a level pack revolved around it, and while it could happen, it most likely won't. It'd still be epic, though.

With nearly everyone being able to relate to Star Wars in some way, fans would buy the pack, and non-fans would still buy it for the Lightsabre. Hello profits.

What do you guys think? Any other possible high-profit ideas that Mm could implement?

Yeah, dude. This thread's going nowhere fast.

So I'll stoke the fire with some devil's advocate play: Your idea is silly. Star Wars will never come to LBP.

I didn't say it would, I'm saying it would bring in a great deal of profit for Mm because let's face it, it would sell well.

Have the lightsaber make its familiar humm as you slap someone and I'm sold.

Who am I kidding, I'd get it just for the Vader mask.

I somehow get the feeling that Lucas would end up with the lion's share of any potential profits. The man didn't get where he is by letting other people make money off of his I.P.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be awesome and one of the best-selling DLCs of all time, but I am saying that it might not help MM that much in the long run. This is probably why they've mostly gone with smaller-scale licensed DLCs IMO.

Of course it'd be cool, but it's unlikely.

You know what's really annoying? When people make a thread with a completely random title that doesn't tell you anything about what the thread is about

This has been suggested like thousands of times .

It's not a good idea to just suggest dlc for something you like. For instance, want an alien pack based on the movie franchise, or even a modern warfare pack which would probably make even more than a star wars pack, but MM only makes media-based dlc for PS3 only video games, so far at least.

Amen to that! Good thing we get to see the first lines of the post by hovering over the link. One more reason why this place is better than the Workshop.

(Hint at the OP: you can still change the title...)

The Watchmen, is that a game, too? And they announced Marvel superheroes.

No worries redcard. I just hate these wierd suggestions lol. But I do love star wars too. This is not to say we can't dream...

And Rogar, I forgot about watchmen. But as for everything else, emphasis on "so far at least".
