New Moderators - comphermc and mrsupercomputer!

We've made two additions to our staff at LBPCentral: comphermc and mrsupercomputer! As I'm sure you'll agree, these two are well versed in the LittleBigPlanet community as well as the LBPCentral community, and will do a great job helping keep things tidy around here. Welcome, guys!

"Deserving" would be a good word.

One might also say "unlucky" with all the troubles that come with the job... perhaps foolhardy?

Or maybe a combination of various effects... ah well, it's definitively not lucky.

... so as to not dwell on this subject... now I need to add TWO mods to LBPC: The Game! Luckily, neither was used yet, and we are in need of mods to fill some places... /cough

Didn't know there was a need for new mods, as the current ones seem to be doing a great job for a small community.

Anyways, Congrats to the both of you, comp seemed like an obvious choice, I do see him post quite often, I've even argued with him in the past but I respect his opinion. Hopefully he is a great mod.

Of course I trust your judgement, after all the main reason the site is what it is today is because of you. You have dedicated lots of time and energy into this site, I also want to state that I don't think mrsupercomputer becoming a mod was a bad desicion at all, I just found it a little surprising.		2009-11-09 05:59:00

I take a more in-your-face approach, but mrsupercomputer is a great choice. He's intelligent, level-headed, and fair. He's online more than he makes apparent - sorta like a ninja.

... Nah, just kidding lol. would be kinda weird if that was how it worked... anywho, from what I understand and from what makes sense, CC and the existing mods choose someone who is mature, would be able to dedicate a lot of time to the job, and would be GOOD at the job- also would like the job (no point volunteering if you don't care XD).

And of course not wanting to be a mod just to be a mod would be good since that shows you want to be a mod just so you have power, but I digress :/

Comph was definitely everyone's first choice it seems and came as a surprise to no one I believe. mrsupercomputer, I think they're aiming for a mod who was like Quozl in that lurks in the shadows, watching. lol I wouldn't really call them jobs. These guys don't get anything out of it, bar the satisfaction of making this forum a better place . It's more along the lines of volunteering work, as this isn't something they had to do. Much respect to any mods as it cant always be easy going out of their way to sort out our mess.

I find it funny that many people would love to become a mod, because they don't seem to realise it's more than just an important name, it's a lot of work too! I've seen cases where people haven't realised this and dropped out not long after, or the power gets to them. It's even happened here too.		2009-11-23 18:18:00
