Ok, This is for real football, not your girly American football

I'm sure there are plenty of fans in here, so who do you support, etc. etc.

Use this to discuss the weekends scores, along with anything else football related.

Personally, i am a Burnley fan, and we jsut drew 3-3 with Man City. Epic game

lol at ARD!

I'm a big Arsenal fan myself, and we're having a pretty great season so far. I was also happy with the City vs Burnley game - but I preferred the Arsenal vs Wolves one today - comfortable win.
Really summed up how Arsenal are scoring for fun this season. Just please win a trophy this time!

Umm, I just want to say, American football is not girly. Do you see any girls playing? I don't think so. Not everybody on LBPCentral is from England, you know.2009-11-07 20:00:00

As for the on topic part of this thread, I don't often watch. Mostly catch UEFA and the World Cup.

Ever heard of sarcasm? Yeah, i used it. Shocking, right?

And the City game was good, we deserved a win though imo. WE outplayed City, and they got a lucky deflection off Jordan to get the first goal on half-time, which gave them confidence to go and score in the second...

Yeah, I saw you go two nil up and was sure you had the win. It's a shame you didn't, definately deserved it.

Please say that this is a reference from the IT crowd - because that episode was hilarious!

I think he means that Arsenal always try to take everyone on, and then tap it in, or something to that effect, as oppose to having a go from range etc.

And yeah, it was pretty gutting for us to go 3-2 down. But we pulled it back, and we played pretty nice football; whether MotD showed it i don't know, i watched the full 90 mins on tv lol

Was MOtD even on this week? I had a look but all I saw were FA Cup highlights...which were really boring results like 7-0 and 5-0 2009-11-08 10:51:00

I'm a Newcastle fan unfortunately (my two great uncles used to play for them, and its my semi-local team). I was at the game yesterday, 4 seats behind the goal a little to left. We beat the mighty Peterbrough 3-1. We've falling a long way in recent years, from beating Barcelona 3-2 at home, and being "The Entertainers" leading the league by twelve points to getting a draw at Blackpool on a rainy friday lol.

We played the best football I've seen back then, probably better than Arsenal do now.

Arsenal since birth.

Averaging over 3 goals a game. Beast.

4-1 yesterday. Nice game.

Personally, I hate football. It's the most over-rated, overpayed sport that exists IMO.

So no, I don't support any team but I came here simply to express my opinion.
