| You're doing it wrong It's not really an FPS so much as an First person RPG... Also, his vision is augmented. Very true. You can't approach this game remotely like any other fps. I FREAKING LOVE this game. I've had dreams about being in its world! It's just such a progressive game, and considering where we're at right now with the FPS genre, in retrospect Deus Ex seems spectacularly ahead of its time. This is the type of thing we should be playing NOW, with all of the high production value of stuff like Bioshock. It is amazing the attention of detail to the world, isn't it? And the options available... oh boy. It's got some issues sure, but in terms of concept, definitely way ahead of its time. I can't stand the view in FPS. I can never aim in time and trying to control the camera and aim at the same time just gives me a migraine. That's kind of weird... what difficulty are you doing it on? Sounds like realistic where death comes pretty quickly... On low difficulties the enemies are blind as bats, especially in the first mission where it's dark. Sound is really important in the game... you can hear the people/bots around you from their walking and "barks" ... Bots always chirp "Scanning area" along their patrols... and people tend to say something when they think they see you .. "What? I think the law's on us!" .....
