ok so im making a lbp lvl after a machinima called freemans mind. and it takes to long for him to get the videos out so anyways wats some of the craziest things that happend in half life(not the fact that theres aileans but like crazy things that you had to do to beat the game. you know big jumps huge explosions that kind of thing)

I love Freeman's Mind. Seems like a hard thing to adapt to LBP, as the comedy in that show comes from Ross Scott's hilarious performance, especially when he gets all fired up and starts yelling. "NO!!! I DON'T WANNA BE SCHIZOPHRENIC!!" I would definitely expect to see the Ichthyosaur segment come up in Freeman's Mind, that's one part that sticks out to me, as well as the massive beasty in the underground railway system. With the Icthyosaur, there was a massive water tank, and you had to crawl out on a rickety cage suspended above it to get a crossbow (I think). they had established that in the water was a massive creature hungry for human BONES. So naturally, when you crawl out onto the cage, the whole thing breaks and plunges you deep underwater, and you've got to somehow swim out of there while knowing that a massive, hungry alien monster is swimming around with you somewhere. I don't remember the details of the railway segment, just that there was a massive, lurking behemoth that you had to run from at one point, as he was too big to destroy with any conventional methods. I do remember peeing my pants. This, I remember.

There was that one bossfight with that huge alien, Hydra-like creature with three heads in that humongous incinerator. You had to distract it with grenades in order to ascend high enough to get to the control room so you could burn it to death. That was pretty nerve-wracking to do for my 8 year-old self. Christ...those clanging noises still ring in my head D=...

That part's been covered in Freeman's Mind in the most recent episodes actually, you should check it out! He hasn't taken the hydra-thing out yet, but he's in the process, shouldn't be long now. god I love that show. EDIT: another thing you have to do throughout Half Life 1 that you can expect to be covered in Freeman's Mind are the trips to the alien world. They're really annoying and full of tons of crazy platforming, and they're overall very bizarre.
