Costume Contest - Winners!

After taking a good look at all of the submissions, I've decided on three that I think stand above the rest. There were so many, though, I almost feel bad narrowing it down to three. Going through the submissions, I was regularly surprised as to how creative and detailed these costumes are. Good job to all of you, really - this was one of the more fun contests to judge.

Anyway, the screenshots of the winning costumes are included along with the username of the winner (which is linked to their post containing the rest of their submissions) and a short quip as to why we felt it deserved to win.

For his Shell Queen costume. While by itself it's still good, the inclusion of the buck teeth really made it a character, one that made me laugh quite a bit as a result. lpghoilic - check out Joey's thread here for more info about Duurps and tips for making your own. Basically the stranger or more exaggerated their features the better. There's lots of pics to inspire you too. Think goofy, a bit slow, but very fun loving and you'll have it.

I still don't know what a DUURP actually is ( as far as I can tell it's just a sackboy with big monster eyes ) but it looks very similar to my 'Little Monster' that I made as soon as the Monster pack came out. Maybe I should have copyrighted it lol.2009-11-04 19:59:00
