So if you could put yourself in any video game character's shoes, who would it be? My top picks: -Sackboy!!! - from LittleBIGPlanet!!! Just imagine, having the power to create infinite possibilities and share them with other people! It would be so much fun! -Hiro or Shun from Mini Ninjas Because they're awesome, and this game looked amazing. Ninja 4 life. -Nathan Drake, from the Uncharted series Yes, some parts of his epic adventures would most likely scare the living crap out of me. But it would be SO WORTH IT. -Ratchet, from the Ratchet and Clank series Who doesn't want his gadges, guns, ship, and fuzzy little tummy, plus a little genius robot who conveniently knows almost everything, can squeeze into small areas, control mental figures of beings somewhere far off (Zoni), and is a SECRET AGENT!? I'll probably think of a lot more later on, I'll post if I do.

Well, technically, the thread title contains a dangling modifier, wouldn't you agree? Favorite could modify EITHER "character" OR "shoes". There's no doubt what "Character's" belongs to, but "favorite", that's a dangly one. My answer? Manny from Grim Fandango is a pretty cool dude in a VERY cool world. But Sonic has some pretty sweet shoes.

If we're talking purely shoes, then Shadow from Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle). Why? They have tiny rockets in them, that let him fly. FLY, I SAY! If we're talking more like "Be this dude for a day or more" then I would have to say Link. Why? He's an amazing sword fighter, gets the coolest gadgets, and lives in an epic fantasy universe. (I guess the main character from Oblivion would count, too, then, huh?)

If I was Niko Bellic I would most definitely not be able to dive out of a helicopter, land in the central park lake, and survive. Nor would I be able to go 200 in a Lamborghini, ram in to a wall, fly out of the car, and survive. I wish I was Niko Bellic.

Mario's got some pretty nice shoes - I mean they must be so strong what with all the running and jumping he does. Although there's a lot of squashed Goombas on them, so maybe not.....
