This is simple. It's not a game, it's just a way of seeing what the people of LBPC are up to. Basically, all you have to do is list the "Best" and "Worst" thing that happened to you this week (and the weeks to come). If you do not have a 'best', or a 'worst', just say so. Please remember this is a 'general chat' thread and you are allowed to talk about anything, as long as it's appropriate and abides by LBPC's guidelines. I'll start: Best: Nov 1st, 2009 - a local video game store saved the day because they were able to professionally clean a dvd for me that would not play. I needed the dvd for my job, and only had about 2 hours to somehow fix it. I don't know anyone with a disc cleaner, except for the local video game store, so they hooked me up! They said that normally they only run the machine on week days, but since this was an emergency they turned it on anyway. Worst: Oct 31st, 2009 - My PS3 died. Absolutely a horrible day. I had the whole day planned: Play Ratchet & Clank ACIT. Mrs Powershifter was busy, so I wanted to cash in on what I call "me time" (or video game time). After about an hour of game play ... blank screen, red flashing light, no response. No worries though - I should be back online within a few weeks. Until then .. *sigh* .. who knows. So what's your Best and Worst of the week?

Best: Mates came down to see me for Halloween. Was a pretty good night and lots of partying... (and everything thats goes with that lol) Worst: Ok so last night some of the girls were having an 'initiation' for their society so they were getting vvvvveeeerrrrryyyy drunk. One girl lost her keys to her room, so my roomy kindly offered to sleep on the floor and let her sleep in his bed. I had no idea this was happening and at 2 o'clock in the morning awoke to the sound of rushing water in my room. I turned on my light and saw a figure at the end of my bed. I jumped pretty bad as you can imagine it gave me quite a fright. It was the girl who my roomy let in. I realised the rushing water sound was coming from her direction- but she wasn't being sick (im pretty sure u can guess what it really was). So yeah she mistook my bedroom for the toilet. Ok, so not too bad as we have got wooden floors. But when i went in to see my roomy she got into my bed and soaked it entirely. I was not a happy bunny lol.

Best- Finally got sent a new Rock Band drum pedal after my other one broke at the start of September. Worst- Worst guitar lesson ever. A substitute was in because my usual guitar teacher was at a gig. The whole lesson was two exercises, one scale that I'd already done and note bending (which anyone can do).

S-a-s - note bending can be awkward sometimes... If you don't bend to exactly the right pitch, it can sound wierd. Anyways - Best, having a gig; played a couple of our own songs, and slither, in too deep, and then finished with our new cover, 'East Jesus Nowhere' (Green Day) which went down well. + i got the solo in it for once bad: Well. Nothing this week yet

S-a-s - note bending can be awkward sometimes... If you don't bend to exactly the right pitch, it can sound wierd. Yeah, but It's pretty simple compared to what I was learning before though.

Best: Reading this thread Worst: Accidentally kicking a glass of ribena over, spilling it all over the carpet in my room, having to move my bed and desk to clean it up, and now having to sit right up against a bookcase in an awkward position waiting for the carpet to dry so I can move the desk back.

Best - Interviewing Danny, Martin and Johneeeeeeeeeeee. Seriously epic. Worst - Being arrested at 3AM in my pyjamas for something i never did and was on bail for 5 months and got kicked out of school for being on bail.. Stupid law.

Weeellll last post before i sleep. I used to go to boarding school I had ADHD I was restrained every now and then.. everyone was. Got restrained one night at 7pm.. usual calm down ,.. went to bed... Headteacher wakes me up at 3am i'm like wtf he says that the member that restrained me said i assaulted them. I didnt. They said i headbutted them in the chest. Doctor said she hadnt been headbutted police took me to guildford police station at 4am mum turns up at 5am she's thinking ive done something really bad turns out i haven't police are like wtf... and put me on bail cos there not sure 4 months later school say i've been out for too long, im not welcome back police let me off bail no charges (although they asked me whether i wanted to say i had done it to make it easy.. ) Missed school for 2 years.. crucial years... 9 and 10... no work in that time.. stayed home playing runescape. year 11 i am a totally diff guy.. lost my ADHD and aspergus.. dno how but i did... Get into a school.. Get 6 GCSE's at C (No studying or revising.. just straight into tests...) Find out my old school was shut down for mis conduct Goto college Doing a - level game design. Yeh.. I got effed over.

well its only tuesday so... best: new subterm, got out of a crappy teachers class worse: new subterm, got an even crappier teacher. Seriously just the way she talks makes me wanna punch her out. No not in a "telltale heart" kind of way just uhg she bothers me!

true enough. What were you learning before? Fast stuff for soloing on the high E-string and linking that into scales at different positions. I learnt parisian walkways lead/ rhythm 2 months or so ago so I got a lot better at note bending from that.

year 11 i am a totally diff guy.. lost my ADHD and aspergus.. dno how but i did... You focused a lot on the bad stuff - which was bad and really unfortunate for you - however I quoted this line because this is a HUGE good thing that happened to you. Sometimes we focus too much on the negatives that happen in life and totally miss the positives.
