Hello again! Besides my oscars competition (which I hope will get some response) I'm organizing a level creating competition only based on scary movies. To enter you have to make a level based on a famous scary movie and I have to be able to recognize certain key scenes from that movie in your level. You can pick any movie you like, from Alien to The Thing to Nightmare on Elmstreet to Predator, .... Basically any decent scary movie made in the last 20 years. I will be rewarding experience for the winner of the competition and the runner-up! Just post your level name and psn id so I can track the level. Deadline for this level is February 2009. I hope by giving you guys/girls enough time you can create something good

if you wish to join the competition just post here your level name and psn id. an example to give you guys/girls some inspiration: "a nightmare on sackstreet" this is a simple but fun level I made in my early LBP days and incorporates several key scenes from some elm street movies. the attentive eye will see a scene from nightmare 1 (freddy coming out the wall above the bed), nightmare 4 (the car junkyard), the boiler room (almost all freddy movies) and so on... Looking forward to some nice submittings ! Big prizes for this contest coming up !

You should have held this contest last year, then maybe I would have finished my Offworld Colony level (aka Aliens) in a reasonable timeframe. Sounds like a great contest, but I published my level independently of knowing about this so morally I'd feel out of line participating. Still, can't wait to see what people come up with! There's some spooky stuff in the monsters pack.

Well in that case.... I am in! Level: Offworld Colony PSN: tsr13 It's a tribute to / reproduction of the 1986 movie "Aliens". It's not 100% creepy throughout the entire level, but there's plenty of spooky stuff.

Due the fact that we have till february I'll consider participating.. This is a busy year for me and with modern warfare 2 that came out a few days ago i'll probably play a little less littlebigplanet than normal.. If i come up with a good idea for it i'll make it! Good idea for a contest btw but making a whole level about it takes a bit too long for me :| I could make one scene incredibly detailed though

Hi Javi ! Yes levels that you have made already are good. I will not accept descent 2 however as that one's simply too good and would be very hard to top. Will accept Descent 1 in the contest
