Explosion of new lbp psp videos

Archive: 12 posts

A ton of new LBP PSP videos have appeared over at IGN. You can see them here. (http://media.psp.ign.com/media/142/14286080/vids_1.html)

The show a ton of gameplay, and reveal something interesting: the instructional videos are cartoons on the PSP version.

I love how it has all new music. I hope some of those tracks make it into the PS3 version.

EDIT: PaddyJ just found these videos (http://uk.gamespot.com/psp/action/littlebigplanet/videos.html) over at Gamespot.

I finally got a chance to sit down and watch the vids - I'm impressed! Not only are the videos themselves of good quality, but they show some great stuff including new voice work from Stephen Fry. Awesome.2009-10-31 06:51:00

Haha, Sackboy can do the running man FTW!

The musics seem pretty interesting too. I'm definitely going to put it on my buy list.

Also... is anyone else getting ads for "Saw VI" at the start of the videos? o_O
That seems rather... antithetic... to say the least.

Go to gamespot and there is 3 new good quality videos of the chinese level. It shows new music, level design etc. Gas effect is ugly tho D: looks more like a solid object with haze around it then gas
http://uk.gamespot.com/psp/action/littlebigplanet/video/6238479/littlebigplanet--jet-pack-gameplay-movie(if vid doesnt work straight away press the pause button twice)

EDIT: The gas coming from the dragons in one of the videos mouth COULD be normal gas put over a thin layer of flame(badly made tho) shaped thin material

EDIT 2: In the rickshaw chase video at the end the dragon knocks over a pile of bricks and they dissolve. Whats weird though is they arent made of dissolve and the scored doesnt increase so it isnt attached to a creature brain with invisible string

Thank you. I will post the link on the first post.

I am glad to see that they changed the levels since I played them. The place where you chose the pictures to open the gate use to be several circles.

EDIT: it also says in the interview that your friends can edit your levels if you want them to when you adhoc share(if you leave them unlocked? i dunno, it didn't say)

The bricks were originally emitted and when they dissolve they are simply being re-emitted somewhere offscreen. Voil?, dissolving non-dissolve material.2009-10-31 16:53:00

Or maybe they have a dissolve option, like they do with the physics option.

Or maybe they have a dissolve option, like they do with the physics option.I've always wished regular materials could be dissolved instead of going through the trouble of a work-around. If LBP PSP has this ability I will be quite happy indeed.2009-11-01 03:33:00

The only problem with my theory is that the do have regular dissolve in the game. Yeah. Seems quite strange. They probly could of used demitters but it would be better if you could dissolve anything D:2009-11-01 11:39:00
