Halloween Movie Marathon suggestions?
Archive: 8 posts
So, this year, I'm not doing anything for Halloween. Thus, I decided to have an epic movie marathon of all sorts of Halloween-y movies. So far, though, all I know for sure is that I'm watching Nightmare Before Christmas, because that movie is the best thing ever. So, I came here asking if you guys know of any good movies to watch tomorrow. They can be scary, funny, or whatever. They just have to be good. Or so terribly bad that I can't help but laugh. But preferably good. PS: General Media or General Chat? If this is wrong, please move it. | 2009-10-30 22:46:00 Author: dandygandy2704 Posts: 1002 |
hm.... for animated cute/scary Coraline is good. If you want older movies The Lost Boys is one of my favorite vampire movies of all time. Fright Night is great too in a campy way but it's got some really intensely gross scenes for younger viewers (another vampire movie.) For horror comedy - gotta see Shaun of the Dead. Great Zombie comedy. You'll never hear Queen's music the same way after watching this one. | 2009-10-30 23:21:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Evil Dead 2. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be watching this on Halloween night. Hilarious classic horror movie. EDIT: Couple more fun ideas. Young Frankenstein - hilarious. This is on tv right now, I can watch this movie a million times and not get sick of it (I have, after all!). It makes a great Halloween tradition. Bram Stoker's Dracula - Perfect mix of camp and full of creepy, really manic fun. It's hilarious to watch this with a bunch of funny friends and just do a "MST3K" job on it. Especially the Keanu Reeves scenes. | 2009-10-30 23:51:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I was actually planning on watching Shaun of the Dead today before Morgana suggested it, I just forgot to write that. I was considering watching the Halloween movies, too, but I'm still not sure about that. I think that really it'll come down to me asking someone at Blockbuster what they would recommend. But I'll definitely take your suggestions into consideration. | 2009-10-31 14:21:00 Author: dandygandy2704 Posts: 1002 |
