lol I'm new, not just to this forum, but to LBP as a whole. (Just got the game a couple days ago, JUST beat story mode, and I haven't made a single game yet.) So yeah, I'm pretty much a noob in ALL of the areas lmao. But yeah, I hope my stay here will delight me, and annoy no one, and I cant WAIT to play yall's levels (Yeah, I'm country. lol), and hopefully, recieve feedback on mine as well. Welcome! Glad ya made it!

You might find the tutorials pretty handy since you haven't tried out create mode yet. There are lots of great tips and advice to be found.

You might also insure you have all the prizes if you are getting ready to take the adventure into creating. Not all prizes are necessary, but there are a few that are nice to have. To get the rest, especially the 2X - 4X prizes, you might check out Finding Other Happy Gadders for some friends to play online with.

Also check out the Community Spotlight as that contains 24 editions that come out every two weeks featuring the best of the best coming out of the LBPC community.

Thank yall for the positive feedback. lol. I've been screwing around online, and so far, I've been MORE than impressed. Some of these levels put the ones that shipped with the game to shame! I'm sort of an overachiever, so I'm trying to make my first game as good as possible. lol. But it's taking a LOT more work than I thought it would. Not only do you have to know how to build, you have to know how to make the stuff you build WORK. UGH SO MUCH TIME I WILL NEVER GET BACK

Hey tookewl, welcome to LBPC and yes, creating does take a long time in LBP. To quote TangoCharlieESQ from the GOTY edition interview, "your appreciation for the MM levels goes through the roof when you start making your own." @olit123: MAN I know what you're saying. lol. When I first played through single player, although I thought (and still do) that this was the most inventive 2D platforming I've seen since Braid and SMB3, there was a thought in the back of my head that was like, "It must be easy to create though".
