I'm sure this is answered somewhere, but I searched all over this site and couldn't find it. How do you get a video to show up in a post, and not just have a link like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUBiN9baCOA I thought you just paste the link to the video and it shows up, but apparently that's been changed? Thanks in advance for the answer

I don't think it's changed. Are you posting the web address and not the "embedded" stuff? I know the embedded one doesn't work for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUBiN9baCOA Guess this is how it works now.

This was done so that people didn't have to wait for videos to load on the page. In this way, it was done for a reason. The change is recent - within the last week. I dunno - I kind of like it. It has the same effect, and there are no more clicks necessary than with an embedded video.

I just think that a picture of the video to watch sparks much more interest from people than a link does... Oh well...I must be the only one *rolleyes*

Put up a still pic if you can - would probably spark initial interest and get people to play the vid.

You could even be as smart as to edit a screenshot of your level, embedding it into a "youtube video player mask", and then linking that picture to your video. Like this: http://www.abload.de/img/youtube-player28hn.png (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHQHR6Uwr-8)

Also, on another side of the subject, a pix or video still can turn off just as much as turn on. People will judge if they click only by what it looks like most of the time. Sometimes words can catch more people .
